Should be an entertaining game between The 'Boys and Eagles...

With the Giants reeling and The Deadskins (my team) clearly out of the picture, this match-up may be one for ownership of the crown.

I am not like TR1 over at ExtremeSkins where I just ramble for the saking ;) ... I do enjoy and appreciate smart and savvy football.

The question that I have for you guys is do you see your secondary matching up well with the speed of Jackson and Maclin?

That's the concern I have with the Eagles game. Jackson and Maclin are no joke. Jackson's always been a deep threat, but the emergence of Maclin is a little scary.

I think the Cowboys can handle them, to be honest. The player that scares me (and always has) is McNabb. The guy feasts on us more often than not. If the Cowboys can keep him in the pocket with pressure, I like our chances. If not, it could be a long day in Philthy.

What DB would you put on Maclin? Jackson has pretty much proven to be uncoverable.

you hit it right on, we must pressure McNabb constantly or we will be in for a long day.
On the offensive side I think we fare better than previous years with the passing of JJ the coordinator...and maybe look carefully at game film of the game they played against the Raiders for inspiration and ideas on how to do it!

It will start with pressure, for certain, but I do like our guys chances in the secondary. I think we could put Jenkins on Jackson and have a pretty solid match up right there. That would put Newman on Maclin who I think Newman would pretty much shut down in a match up like that.

The bigger question will be how well our guys take care of Celek.

we are SCREWED if we don't get after McNabb early and often: simple as that really...........

Jenkins: on Jackson
Newman: on Maclin (scary)
Sensabaugh: on Celek (real scary).....gotta get to him......

That is my fear too. Celek. He scares me more than anyone.

I think our guys will be up to the challenge back there. They are probably watching the film and seeing jackson make great plays and it is probably motivating them.

Its all about pressure.

I think you try and mix it up with zone and man coverages. I also think when playing man you make sure you have help over the top on Jackson. Main thing though is getting to McNabb. One thing that killed the Giants was lack of pressure on McNabb.

Keep Jackson in front of us and beat him up after the catch.

He will get tired of that type of game.

He likes to run deep, not catch balls and take a hit.

Don't let him get behind us at all costs, and he is just an average WR.
