Video: Should Dak Prescott be concerned with Joe Milton joining the Cowboys?

The video that ends all debate of Dak Prescott vs Joe Milton

:grin::popcorn::muttley:

You mean our starting QB, the highest-paid in the NFL, does not need to worry about a 2nd-year 6th-round pick? And you are both excited and happy about that statement?

I mean I know you are a fanboy, but I am not sure that "ringing endorsement" means what you gleefully think it does. In fact, I am embarrassed that we are at the point with your hero that the national media even thought to talk about it.

But hey maybe they brought Milton in to beat some sense into Dak like you wanted done to him last year, he does have a "cannon" for an arm.

I actually like the physical attributes Joe Milton brings to the table. I even created a thread glorifying his abilities. But like the ex-QB and LB said in the video, there is no way Dak is looking over his shoulder at Joe Milton. Milton needs a lot of work, time and patience to see if he drastically improves his game and proves he is worthy of being QB2 or ever starting.

At this point in his career it could be argued the best thing that could happen for Dak is a career ending injury. He's already made his fortune. The only thing left for him is to try and salvage his legacy, which the odds are against.

A sudden end to his career would at least allow he and his rabid defenders to play the 'incomplete' card instead of suffering the agony of watching things play out to the bitter end.

Nothing worse than any so called Cowboys "fan" outright calling for their star QB to suffer a career ending injury. Sick. The absolute worst.

If Dak was a true teammate, and no reason why he should not be. He will take Milton under his wing and teach him.
I have not watched the video yet, maybe it is mentioned.

Dak has no reason to be concerned otherwise. If anything his contract and Jerry dictates he will be the starter.
Why would you want Dak to taint Milton?

I hope they don't even speak. We don't want loser to run off on Milton before he even gets a chance.

No

Milton should not. I repeat. Should not, learn anything from Dak.

I don't think Dak is upset about Chad Hutchinson, I mean Joe Milton, joining the Cowboys.

If you mean lead by handing it off to Zeke and that OL in that simplified passing offense built off play action and limited reads I’m pretty sure he could and so a bunch of other average QBs that make the NFL.,
Another VERY clear case of double standards. When we lose, it was bad routes, bad defense, no running game, etc etc.

When we go on a streak...Dak leads us.

And everyone knows I'm not making this up or cheap hyperbole for funs or insults. It's true. And pathetic.

He should not care and he does not.

He has his contract and money in the Bank.
He doesnt need to pay taxes and has good ad contracts going.

That big bucks is what he cares about and thats what he got.

What does he has to lose? His qb position?

Sorry if i laugh about that. The guy doesnt care about that. For him its just the way to make money.

And he got his 2 big contracts. Now its cabo timeout time. Make a idiotic statement like "my brain is in the best shape whatever" just to keep his fanboys happy buying those jerseys.

You lie you cheat, sell deaths of your relatives to the media. Easy for a guy like him. No sweat.

No values, no deeper thoughts. Just about the money.
His personality fits this franchise perfect.

What should he be afraid of? To be eaten by the sharks? Seriously. Even sharks have pride. They dont eat every crap.
I think you should stop beating around the bush and tell us how you really feel.

:)

Notice how Dak didn't mention Milton on social media? Usually when a player re-signs or comes to the Cowboys, Dak just reposts the mothership's post; he did not do that with Milton (hehe).
Dak is easily intimated.

Remember when he got his yearly injury, Cooper Rush went 4-1 in his absence, and Dak came back and led the NFL in INTS despite missing five games?

Dak doesn't hide it much at all when he feels pressure. Milton is beating him without even taking a snap. Dak is mentally weak and it shows year after year.

This is such a great post. If Dak limps along for 3 or 4 years it's going to get so ugly for him.

I think we know what we have in DAk
When healthy and surrounded with a decent running game some adequate protection and a competent defense.
He is somewhere in the top third of the league.

Take away any of these things add 10 years of wear and tear and the injuries he has sustained and he becomes somewhat compromised.
Not sure how many more of these injuries he can bounce back from and not end up more than a step slow and end up in the same situation Tony was in before he retired.

I like the addition of Milton and think if he could be taught and coached up properly he has the physical tools to develop into a serviceable quarterback.

It seems like many times with quarterbacks by the time they completely grasp the mental part of the game their body has them compromised to the point where they can no longer protect themselves and compete.

Milton is at the height of his powers physically it all depends on make the necessary mental adjustments to be able to compete in the NFL .
I wish for Dak to recover and be able to regain his ability to compete in the NFL but if he is unable I would be excited to see this young man fulfill his potential and be able to lead our team

I think Milton will be given every opportunity to prove himself in the preseason. If he does not, then it won't be Grier at No. 2 ahead of him. We'll go get someone.

I do believe that right now we want Milton to be the backup, but he's got to show that there is reason to entrust him with the role.
Will be exciting to watch him in the pre-season especially if we draft golden or tmac
