Should Dallas Draft Noah Spence at #4?

After Greg Hardy, and Randy Gregory, I don't think they have the guts to make Spence the "face" of their draft. I wouldn't have an issue if they did. I'm just saying they won't. Now, they may move up into the bottom portion of the 1st for him, if he's still there. By taking him with their 2nd pick, you lessen the impact of him being the face/focus of the draft. However, that didn't keep Gregory from being the talk of the draft despite Jones being our first pick. So, I guess I'm conflicted. I think Spence is the best pass rusher in this draft. But, at #4? I don't think even JJ has the guts to pull that trigger. JMO

No.

Maybe in the teens if you trade back. But at 4? Nah.

Just curious... how many of you listened to the Cowboys Break this week?

I heard a bit of it.

Nevertheless, taking Spence at 4 would be a mistake IMO.

I did. Though I don't consider BB's opinions on the draft to be necessarily indicative of anything.

BB keeps mentioning Spence's name... he's an option at #4.

I wouldn't trust BB to actually know what the Cowboys' draft plans are.

And let's point out that good teams evaluate players for all kinds of contingencies. So while they have been looking at Paxton Lynch and Noah Spence, that's likely just the team doing their due diligence in case a worthwhile trade down proposal presents itself to them.

There's no chance they'd take either Lynch or Spence at 4.

Nah, but certainly worth consideration in a trade back.

I think Spence would be a complete animal as an OLB in a 3-4 scheme.
