Goodness

Y’all act like Dave Campo was drooling on the sidelines and had one finger in his butt and the other where it don’t belong

He just wasn’t qualified to be head coach...the man did his best

This is the garbage that makes me want to throw up in my mouth. I feel like I am back into the Jerry's World and all his stupid stuff from year's past. I have joked the last 2 years of how I always made a Jerry Jones Disaster Mock Draft where" Jerry Locks the Draft War Room Doors and is Making All The Draft Picks Mock Draft"...BUT this isn't funny anymore.I expect the same stupid crap again and wouldn't be surprised. We are going to sign Johnny Manziel, anyone that ever played at Arkansas, and anyone that is a homicidal maniac. Is Rae Carruth out of prison now??? Thank God Aaron Hernandez committed suicide........Why bring back a TE who is 38 years old and slower than a sloth. I think Aaron Hernandez still could outrun Witten now even being dead!!.....

2017 - Witten had 63 catches for 560 yards and 5 tds.
2018 - Gathers, Swaim, Jarwin and Schultz had 68 catches for 710 yards and 4 tds. (And Jarwin had 3 of those in one game, meaning the others collectively had 1 td)

So fine, let's not bring Witten back, and go with another 4 TE td season. Yeah, that'll get us back to the SB, right?
Or draft a TE, how did Jarwin, Schultz and Gathers do their first year? No first round pick, the possibility of a 2nd round TE lighting up the field is remote.

Look, Witten is there to provide a bit of stability to the position and mentor the other guys. In 2017 he was not there to mentor, he had to play to have at least a semblance of a tight end receiving threat. Lord knows Rico wasn't it, and Swaim had a couple of years to beat out Witten, and couldn't do it.

At this point, even with age or lack of speed factored in, Witten's still better than any of the other 3 on the roster, and there are more pressing needs in the draft, this is a run-first team, then Cooper, then Gallup, THEN the tight end. This team could have Novacek in his prime on the team and he wouldn't get a bunch of yards or tds.

Way too much emphasis being placed on Witten coming back, whether good or bad for the team....

Another in the long line of coordinators that were moved out of their area of expertise and failed at being a head coach. And he didn't have much talent on his teams, anyway.
