Should Irving be a LDE or do we move him to the 3

I'm a huge Collins fan ( I wasn't when we drafted him ) How would a combo of Irvin and Collins look at the DT position. Or should we keep Irvin at the LDE spot.

IMO,
Irving should be your LDE, Collins your 3T with Crawford rotating in, a new 1T (my hopes is Poe), which leaves you Tank, and hopefully the 1st round pick to play the RDE.

Just my opinion.
Why in blue blazes would you put tank over the other teams best pass protector. I think tank is good but he is more Greg Ellis and less demarcus ware.

I like Irving better inside....he has great leverage and also has the wingspan to alter passes when he doesn't get push......but moving him around is OK.....his body type doesn't impact his position

Rather start mayowa than tank

My opinion, he's tall and lean and too easy for OL to get "pads under" on him if he plays a three on running downs. I think he is better suited as a strong defensive end on the TE or blocking RB side.

He's not the perfect WDE but he's the best pass rusher on the team IMO. It's too early to predict where he's going to play the most. If you have Mayowa in he's the WDE then Irving needs to play anywhere else on the line. I love his versatility and hope he stays of the Boys for a long time. A lot depends on who is acquired in FA or the draft.

He's a LE IMO. Crawford is the one they need to quit playing at LE and keep a 3T.

Irvin was a WR. Irving is a LE.
You remind me of my 7th grade language arts teacher, she could never pass up an opportunity to correct misspelled words or grammatical mistakes. I showed her my notes from a student council convention and she took out her red pen. LOL, she's retired, divorced and her kids don't speak to her anymore.

No... He's not a 4-3 DE.

Needs to be on the inside or as the DE in a 3-man front that Marinelli likes to use.
