I have no problem with that. Pollard is not seeing things clearly. He should have scored on that first drive but he cut up into all the trash. If he had kept his head up he would have seen that he could have ran right between Smith and Smith into the endzone there was a DB coming up but he wasn't going to stop TP

Yes

Maybe by seasons end Pollard regains some burst from his injury but right now its painfully obvious Rico is better and that $$$ is dictating their decision

That’s a weapon they just aren’t using.

Exactly, there's potential and talent to be used. I can understand trying to ease him into the league, especially with him being a rookie and at his size. But they're missing something imo. If they can use him like Sproles, who he was compared to coming out of college, then I think that he can become quite a weapon. It's easy to see the few times they let him carry the ball.

I like Dowdle a lot and he seems to have the vision and the juice to get through the holes. Pollard acts like he’s in high school football where the coaches scream at you when you as-lib and don’t hit the right hole for the play, seek was the same way - hit the hole even when there’s daylight outside. Dowd makes people miss too. he runs with purpose…

I agree Dowdle is a tough player inbetween the tackles. He has a little Marion Barber in him where he runs angry. With that said though up to this game I don't know that Dowdle as seperated himself where he's done enough with his 42 touches in prior games to earn more playing time. Maybe that changes after this game, but one thing is clear and that is Pollard isnt nearly as effective in prior seasons.
