I know it isn't his position, but I've heard of tackles moving in to extend their careers. He is just the type of power player we're looking for at guard.

I'd love to have Willie on our leftside beside Flo but he won't play for the vet minimum and it's all we can afford at this point. We'dalso have to let go of 2 ol that we're trying to progress. Nonetheless, I don't think Marten is a player and Berger is never going to be a starter. Willies old but 2 yrs left in him, I'd take him for the price, OL starting ability/insurance alond another starter along the line going down for 2 yrs. We would have to trash and be in the position to trash 2 young OL, although I hate trashing young players that can progress, just don't think other than Free, Proctor and McQuistan there will be anymore progression.

Willie Anderson has a zero percent chance of coming to the Cowboys. Willie turned down a pay cut, obviously because his agent and him know that there is SOME team out there that is willing to pay a good amount of money, definitely more than Jerry would pay for his services. Even though he is old, and injury prone now, there is a team desperate enough to use him that they are willing to take a gamble on him.

I wouldn't mind him for the depth purposes but I can't see this guy coming here and playing for a really small contract and being a backup when there is surely a team out there that needs him far more, will give him more, and have him start.
