Should there be stipulations in Micah Parsons contract?

Why would the team give 2 ***** about vacations and podcasts during the offseason?
It’s the offseason and he’s a football player entitled to live a life outside of football during the offseason.
As long as he’s not doing something inherently stupid like shooting himself out of a canon in the circus or skydiving, or extreme mountain climbing or joining the Ukrainian army there’s no justification for stipulations for anything he’s done!
Apparently it's an issue his teammates have an issue with it, maybe if he put more time into his teammates and his craft maybe he wouldn't be questioned like this

Maybe Micah should stipulate that jerry step down as gm and hire someone to run the Cowboys like a legitimate franchise and not some rich man's hobby toy.
I fully agree and hope the other 50+ players follow suit.

Hmmm…. He’s averaged 13 sacks a season through 4 seasons.
Through his 1st 4 seasons TJ Watt averaged 12.3.
Myles Garrett 10
Show me a teammate who’s complaining about his little podcast and I bet you’ll find a player who should be worrying about themselves!

OP is obsessed with Micah's contract. This is like the 17th thread the past week.
I propose a mega thread, just keep adding.
:muttley:
One of those 17 was “hey zone! Can we all agree to stop posting about contracts?”

We're talking about a generational talent, yet it appears there's concerns with Micah and his dedication to the team. This quote from Jerry stands out a lot “Micah has to be the player that he wants to be paid as" goes a long way. We all know that Micah likes to do Micah and live his life. He does things in the off season, travels, podcasts, and it seems like he just wants to be involved in everything he can during the off season!

With that said, are there going to be stipulations about these things in his contract? How can the Cowboys go to someone like him and say hey, if you don't slow down with this, we won't do this for you?? Is that legal in terms of the CBA?

On April 7th we have voluntary workouts, will he show up if there's no deal by that date? I think we can all agree that there's NOTHING that will suggest that a deal doesn't get done. Micah will be a Cowboy and will be the highest paid.

Are you fine with stipulations being placed on him? Please give your thoughts

Yes, take it or leave it...or get traded for a man, not a man child.

Once he bites that cookie? It's all over, but the crying for the betterment of the team.

Jerry gonna feed you milk from his pig thingy.

It’s not possible to tell a guy he can’t talk. There are certain risky things the CBA allows you to stipulate. But you can’t force a guy to show up to voluntary anything. That’s violates the CBA.

Im sure Jerry wants a gagging order. Dont care about anything other than his field activities.

Since when does Jerry dictate anything to star players? Jerry will get fleeced in this deal. Micah's agent will get everything he asks for and more because jerry is the worst at actually negotiating from a place of strength.

And why would he sign it? He could blow his knee out week 17 and still get the biggest any defensive player has ever gotten.

You dont add stipulations just because fans want you too. You add stipulations because the player is a concern. Micah is not
