There was an investigation. The NFL let the police do their thing first. He was never arrested. What legal process? There wasn't a court case or anything.
There was no process at all, except for Judge Goodell (against the findings of his own people) handing out sentencing.
They would've suspended him sooner, but he fought back against it. THAT's why it took a year.
The thing most people don’t understand or remember in the Zeke situation…whether we agree with the decision or not - The NFL investigated that incident for months before a decision was made.Zeke was never even arrested but the Goodell sat him down on the accusation of a proven liar.
Meanwhile, Miller was arrested for alleged domestic abuse against a pregnant woman on Thursday. (Even though he had an arrest warrant since Nov.30)
The league knew about it for two weeks. They never cared about innocent until proven guilty before, so what's the exception here?
Press coverage. Didn’t even know this happened.Zeke was never even arrested but the Goodell sat him down on the accusation of a proven liar.

There was no legal process in Zeke’s case. That’s kind of the pointThe legal process was complete in Zeke's case, before the league imposed any suspension. The league is supposed to wait until that is over before they take action.
That is what the woman told the 911 center and what she told police when they got there. Marks on her face and neck where he choked her suggested that it wasn't a he-said, she-said.You have proof? Or is her word worth more than his?
Thank you. There was no legal process in Zeke’s case. That’s kind of the point
But there was. A police investigation is a legal process. There was no legal process in Zeke’s case. That’s kind of the point
Yes, let us all assume he's guilty and she couldn't possibly have any other agenda. See what I did there? Innocent until proven guilty. It's a founding principle of our great nation.Yes, let us all assume she's lying and the man is innocent.
Nothing has changed. If he had a ✭, it be different. In a sane world, this is the case.
But Goodell long ago decided that mere accusations were all he needed. Zeke wasn't arrested because even police didn't believe the accusation. But he was still suspended by the league.
I'm trying to find out what changed from then to now?
Or from thy Magna carta?Yes, let us all assume he's guilty and she couldn't possibly have any other agenda. See what I did there? Innocent until proven guilty. It's a founding principle of our great nation.
You are the one who said "Too bad the macho set at the forum is all defence and no concern shown the victim."Who has all the facts? Who told you? I did not. Did I?
What's wrong with what's painted now?If the League was legit with any kind of moral compass it would paint:
"End Domestic Violence" in its end-zones.
Or better yet: just paint nothing.
That said, I have no opinion on Von Miller as a person until all evidence is in, and verdict rendered. Accusations are just that.
Is that really you, Jason Witten? Impressive. You have proof? Or is her word worth more than his?
Yes, now what?Is that really you, Jason Witten? Impressive.
Right. But remember, the incident Zeke was eventually suspended for took place in summer, 2016. He played the entire 2016 season. The NFL did a long investigation before suspending him for 6 games in 2017.Zeke - never arrested. Suspended
Von- arrested. Playing
