We will be going up against the team that cut Sam . You would think he knows their offense well and he has to be very motivated to show them it was a mistake. I mean Wilbur was playing DE on nickel rush , a job i think Sam could do better.

To answer that, who do you want to cut to make a spot on the 53.

Scandrick is coming back to so I believe that's 2 to be cut then?

No. We can just ask him the formations, we don't need to play him for that.

We will call him up when he's ready. He's not ready.

Be better off with Carter at SAM and Wilber at DE-----play some games with the 2 of them with both on the same side. Carter not bad at blitzing, Wilber has snaps dropping off into the SAM spot. Send one, send the other, drop Wilber off into coverage. Both are roster locks, both have NFL size, speed and strength right now.

Can't argue with that thought.

Why would he need to be activated in order to gain his knowledge of the other teams offense. They could just ask him all week.

No reason to activate him unless he has earned it or another player has been injured.

Yes he played looked a bit better early on. I think he is another guy trying to build confidence coming back from injury

I like the player but I think he would be a better fit for a 3-4 team. If he is unable to earn a starting job I would prefer they trade him before the deadline.

Agree with this. But if we see the possibility of him providing value against the Rams on the field we should get him on the field. No need to give Davis any confidence against our Dline.

We need depth and we need him to move inside on passing downs once Dlaw and Spencer comeback. I am not of the opinion we trade a 3rd rd pick away after 3 years. This team needs talent and as the season wears on he will be valuable. Remember this is his 2nd game back from injury and in a new defense
