Should we activate Sam this week?

I honestly think Sam right now is a better player than Wilber. I don't think Wilber is going to make it this entire season. He's going to be one of the cuts once Brent, Scan, Spence, and Law come back.

We will be going up against the team that cut Sam . You would think he knows their offense well and he has to be very motivated to show them it was a mistake. I mean Wilbur was playing DE on nickel rush , a job i think Sam could do better.

Seeing that great practices is what gets players promoted from PS, he would need to have been standing out in practice last week.
No idea if he was...but that's how it usually works.

i would'nt think a rookie on the defense, trying to make a roster spot would know all that much about what they plan to do. and since you have to cut someone to bring him up i don't see that happening. he needs to develope and the ps is the place for him to do that. he may get called up later in the year but don't see it now

Its interesting to me that the Rams did not re-sign Sam in light of Chris Long's injury. He was third behind Long, so why haven't the rams brought him in?

I would not bring a player up from PS unless I knew he was ready, I get the being motivated but main concern is his understanding of the system he is now in.
