I think a lot of it was for the qbs. I think they end up signing Lance as the backup.

Yes because talent in players greatly outweighs talent coaching. Belichick fell off when Brady left. Mike Tomlin can’t get a playoff win the last 8 years with no QB.

Coaching is what it takes when you have enough talent to be in the mix. But coaching was NOT the problem in 2024. A bad roster was. McCarthy can be blamed for not being ready for the Packers in 23.

I’m intrigued if the cowboys are actually going to a run base offense but you have to have good RBs and a good OL for it to matter. Plus a good WR2 to keep defenses honest.

I think the team brings in Amari or Stefon Diggs this offseason as WR2.
