I like CJ, and wouldn’t mind if he is brought back. Every team needs good role players.

If he signs another contract with us, which is highly doubtful, but possible....

he probably gets beat out in camp.

Well the Cowboys seem to value "versatile" players (e.g. T. Crawford) so I don't see that he won't be back, unless some other team makes a ridiculous offer to him...
