Yesterdays's game was huge. It not only gave kept the eagle's and Giants breathing down our necks, but it might of kissed our first round bye chances good bye. The Vikings have lost one game, the Saints none . We have a tough schedule ahead with the Commanders twice, Giants on the road, Chargers, then Saints on the road and then the eagles.

I think at this point after this packer lost it's fair enough to say were going on the road at least twice and will probably have to beat the Vikings and Saints in there home stadiums.

I no longer see us making the superbowl after yesterday's game.

Hopefully the boy's can at least win there home playoff game.

You don't need a 1st round bye to get to the Super Bowl. 3 of the last 4 Super Bowl champions played in the 1st round and at least 1 team that played in the 1st round made it to the Super Bowl 5 out of the last 6 times. It's not that necessary anymore.

I'm more interested in playing Washington this week and finishing the regular season first.

You saw us making the Superbowl before Sunday's game?
And now you don't. Got it.

Yep, one game at a time. We can't afford to look ahead that far, especially with December and January just around the corner.

If we can make the playoffs and win a playoff game, i don’t care where we have to play. Just to be in that game would be great. Anything can happen. If the Cowboys can win the next two game, it will put them in a very good position for December.

A first round bye was probably a pretty steep hill to climb before Sunday. I'm just wanting them to maintain their position in the East from week to week. I'll take a wild card home game myself and be pretty happy about it if they can get there.

Who said we were going to get a 1st round bye anyway?

Also, it is not even certain that we will be making the Playoffs as there is still a ton of football to be played.

My thoughts exactly. Did we forget about the Saints and Vikings?

...Dallas is'nt a superbowl caliber team, which should be clearly evident after last sunday...and what would they do with HFA anyways?...if you think the loss of Hamlin won't be detrimental then you need to check out the Giants who are hating life without Kenny Phillips...you can't make me believe that the Cowboys are going to even win a playoff game with that horror show offense...

We're hosting NYG or PHI in the first round of the playoffs, of that I'm sure.

We win, play the Vikings in the second round and proceed to pwn.

We lose to the Saints in the NFCC Game.

Bradie, Flo and penalties keep us from winning a SB.

Next year we draft an OL in the first, second and forth round.

Solid response. There's no need to go off the deep end here. It seems clearly evident that we need to shore up the ground game and get back to what brought us success to this point (controlling the clock). Even though I have harped on their inadequacies on many occasions, I would think our coordinators would see this developing trend and fix it rather quickly. Stop running these nicked up RBs out there and give them a chance to heal up. We'll need them down the stretch. Look for a marked increase in carries by The Choice and a statement on the ground against the Skins.

...no need to go off the deep end?...right, but do you trust:

1. Watkins/Ball at free safety for the next four weeks?

2. Free at right tackle the remainder of the season?

3. Barber and Jones becoming 100% and being utilized to their fullest.

4. Garrett putting the offense in the best position to succeed.

5. Players overcoming continued meltdowns in-game.

6. Roy Williams making the difference now that Austin has been taken away.

7. Witten being utilized more in the passing game.

8. A leader emerging on offense.

...i'll say this...with Williams stumbling and fumbling around this offense has come full circle back to where it was pre Kansas City...
