Should we look to extend Rico Dowdle?

He's our RB1, and the earth knows he's "not a starter on any team in the nfl of the 31 other rosters!" With that said, if he continues to trend upwards throughout the season, and REMAIN healthy, could we give him a nice payday? Please give your thoughts

Do you think they will actually spend a top 4 round pick???

I literally know zero about college ball…

There is a good draft crop coming out. Jeanty is a first rounder. Many good second rounders imo. That and a veteran signing like James Conner, najee, javonte Williams, chubb, mattison, etc should make a good room. I wouldn't sign back dowdle unless it was a really good deal for us.

I don't think we want to go in the 1st round again to get a RB, unless he's really really a stud. I'm not into college football either, too many teams!

Let the season play out before we make any decisions on him or anyone else. I’ve seen some act like Rico is something special. Jerry referred to him as an outstanding RB the other day in his radio interview. He’s the best back we have right now, but he’s average. Until last week the longest run we had all season was 12 yards by CeeDee. Rico damn near got us beat last week with his fumble.

Jeanty, is from Frisco too, so he can be a Dallas day guy. Dallas probably would and I'm in favor of using the 1st round pick on Jeanty.
