Should we look to extend Rico Dowdle?

I don't think we want to go in the 1st round again to get a RB, unless he's really really a stud. I'm not into college football either, too many teams!
The 1st round running back is a stud.

He's our RB1, and the earth knows he's "not a starter on any team in the nfl of the 31 other rosters!" With that said, if he continues to trend upwards throughout the season, and REMAIN healthy, could we give him a nice payday? Please give your thoughts
Why not, we will still need a back up RB.

It depends. He should be a #2 or a #3 on serious teams.

What Dallas should do and what the owner does are two opposing ideas. For YEARS they mismanaged the roster spot. The good postseason teams have a dynamic offense and/or a plethora of RBs in rotation.

Do you think they will actually spend a top 4 round pick???

I literally know zero about college ball…
Jerry will reach and draft a RB in round 1.

Jerry needs jersey sales otherwise he may lose his title of America's team.

Yes let’s see how 2024 plays out . On the broadcast from Pitt the other night they said that exact Steeler practices that goal line stand leap causing fumble weekly . So I’m not going to trash him over that play .

The rest of night what was not to like ? In the red zone he seems to find the end zone on pass plays . Nice weapon .

You could pair Dowdle and Leupke with a fairly high Rb in next yrs draft . 3rd or 4th round .

They will be doing the same thing the last time they decided that they didn’t need a good RB and use a 1st the following year….

Same as when they decided they didn’t need one single good WR and had to trade a first for one.

They aren’t any good at this. The sycophants keep telling them they are, and the fans keep showing up for more abuse because we don’t know any other way, so here we are….again.

It isn't a reach. A good chance that Jeanty would be the best in the league. Do yourself a favor and stay up tonight and watch Boise State at Hawaii. Enjoy. I nice footnote is Jeanty is from the Dallas area.

what he means it, we'll take a RB that should be drafted in the 2nd and we'll draft him in the 1st
