They drafted another quarterback. Something Dallas has refused to take seriously in ten years. It's remarkable how different a franchise can look with a viable QB

And HC. It's usually that combo. Notable exceptions for HC Parcells and Gibbs, QB Brady and P Manning. Anyone I'm missing?

Or people who don't think draft spot is the end all be all. Especially when you aren't going to be in a position to draft a top QB talent, or would simply pass up on it and draft an RB.

Nah! They'd screw it up anyway. We've had a lot of great players over the years and none of them could make a difference.

From what I've seen so far max wins for this season is...6 if they win more, well, Ill admit to being one of the worst prognosticator around.

I said 5-12 before the season. I had us losing to GB and beating the Cards though. So, even if I end up right in the win or loss column (can't be right on both obviously) I still won't actually be right.

Well I'm not cheering for them to lose so people can stop trying to convince me differently. Why would I waste 3+ hours × 8 games cheering for the team I have followed since 1977 to lose? If they lose, fine, but I know my mood is better after wins and the buttheads who only show up to complain and whine after losses disappear so the week is more enjoyable too.

I got dogged by the homers who said I was just a hater thinking this team would only win 7 games. Looks like my 7 win prediction might be spot on, of course I will get no apologies.

As a matter of fact, I expect them to lose every game unless they prove otherwise.
They have a good chance to beat the Giants, so there is that.

I did , and their opp have been weak mostly, but NE did beat a couple of the good teams like buffalo.

The number of great players a team had over the years is largely irrelevant. How many really good players have the Cowboys had at the same time? When you solely build through the draft, you're never going to be able to collect the talent necessary to win a championship.
