The defense plays better as a whole, and not just counting on one or two players to make a play ,and you take a playoff yourself because you think they’re better and I’m going to make the play.

Defense saved the team from Dak’s turnovers and bad throws .
The two INT‘s were just about his only bad throws. Despite the good play by the defense, we were still behind in the closing seconds. Dak ultimately won the game by recovering Dowdle’s fumble and throwing the winning TD pass with just seconds remaining. In the end it was Dak who saved the team. We don’t win that game without him.

Exactly it could have been an A+ game but you take the turnovers if you want to put a mark on them and it becomes a B++ game..

I mean literally if you can go on the road give it all the happenings to start the game late in a delay the rain late at night and then I get the top five defense it's like your first six drives are inside the 22 yard line of the Pittsburgh Steelers I mean literally you couldn't have asked him to play a better game outside of the turnovers protected the defense with long time consuming drives it kept their offense off the field limiting their drives and the turnovers weren't those easy points you know there was no pick six there was no short field I mean it's literally 1 punt the whole entire night you can just count those turnovers like punts I realize most won't look at it that way I'm not glossing it over he can't make those mistakes every game they all have a story when you get sandwiched by jailbreak book in sometimes you're gonna drop the football and when city lamb admittedly was supposed to run a back shoulder fade or come back towards the corner pylon and he doesn't he rather had had a jump ball so he just stopped his route and watched it be picked off and the other was just an aggressive throw I think he thought somebody was gonna be running like a full speed turban and tober just didn't quite get deeper than the safety and that happens sometimes but they were all like punts to me...

Two weeks in a row he's throwing passes in such tight coverage I mean dropping Dimes all over the field just easily moving the ball up and down the field and what I saw is the offense take the next step yes we want them to end in touchdowns or more points and get rid of the turnovers you're gonna need that to beat the lions but I saw our offense and our quarterback have his best game of the year I can block out the turnovers 'cause I can see he played well from the first snap.

I am not being a dakophobe or a Homer I really do see it that way.. I mean literally this defense would have never been as good without all those long time consuming drives and all that rest they got because of Prescott in the offense that went a long way because it's not like that defense anytime this year that I can remember is turning the ball over and providing a bunch of three an ounce and short field for our offense our offense literally was playing defense by keeping the ball away from them for long periods of time..

Dak is not the answer and never was at 45 mil or now at 60 million . He is not good enough to be paid that much and all can see it . He buckles at most tight games . Goff outplayed him . Dallas would have saved 20-35 million on cap if they had gone after stafford or Baker outplayed or garropolo or others a few years ago ,

They have over $20 mil in cap space now, they won’t use it. If they saved all that by not signing Dak, they still wouldn’t go out there and make the moves we want

No QB would be the answer on this team. Not even Mahomes would have success with this team. The defense and running game are the two biggest problems with the team. Go cry about Dak to someone else.

Aikman couldn't win with the roster Jerry assembled, even with the remnants of Jimmy's players, and Romo couldn't either so you are correct.

There’s no doubt in my mind that no QB in the league would have success with our roster and the Joneses running the team. Both jugheads continue to say they like their roster but what else are they supposed to say? The problems with the Cowboys all start at the top.

Then why pay one (who already proved he can't get it done) $60M a year???
Because he gives you a chance. The Cowboys would be no better than 1-5 without him because this is a bad football team. You have no chance without a viable QB, it all starts there. That’s why all these QBs are getting paid big. Trevor Lawrence got $55 million per and all he does is lose games. Without him Jacksonville would be even worse.

Yeah but we made him the highest paid quarterback in the league and he rarely scores touchdowns. He throws more interceptions than Red Zone touchdowns. There are quarterbacks in the draft to be had so you're just going to have to bite the bullet and have a bad year.

He throws a lot of TDs. He led the league in TD passes last season. He holds the franchise record for TD passes in a season. We’re struggling in the redzone because of penalties and we can’t run the ball. Our OL played like crap yesterday. He had pressure in his face all day.

Right, but that’s not happening every week or every trip into the redzone. He wouldn’t be having to throw all the time in the redzone if we had a damn running game and didn’t commit so many redzone penalties. Derrick Henry has more than double the TDs our backs have. We blew it big time not signing him.
