I thought it would be interesting to see how some of us have our "draft board" slotted. With all the recent debate on different prospects, and who we should or shouldn't draft, I thought it would be great to see how some of you guys have the players ranked in order of preference as far as the realistic options at #22.

My board as of 4/11/07.....

#1 Tedd Ginn Jr.
#2 Dwayne Jarrett
#3 Reggie Nelson
#4 Aaron Ross
#5 Chris Houston
#6 Jarvis Moss
#7 Brandon Merriweather
#8 Joe Staley
#9 Justin Blalock
#10 Benn Grubbs

*I reserve the right to change my mind by the hour :D

WoW, thank God you don't have anything to do with the Cowboys:D

No biggie though because the Cowboys don't draft UT players anyway. Since Jerry bought the team we've had 166 draft picks a ONE UT draftee,Wane McGarity. Having said that they'll probably draft 2 day 1 this year:D

Don't know all the big names in college but this is what we need in any order:

NT
Branch, Solai, other?

CB
Revis, Ross, Houston, Nelson-Hybrid, other?

WR

Johnson, Bowe, Meachem, other?

ILB

Patrick Willis, other?

OT

Can't think of anyone???

We get one of each and we will be in the Super Bowl real soon:starspin

The only guys guaranteed not to fall to us are Johnson, Quinn, Russell, Peterson, Landry and Adams. Now very unlikely to fall are Anderson, Brown, Hall and Willis but you cannot say that they 'wont' IMO.

I think you can say that Thomas and Okoye wont fall either.

The problem I have with Spencer is that I don't think he has the hips/feet to drop back into coverage. Most scouting reports seem to confirm that he is very limited in this regard, and most feel that he just doesn't have the athleticsm to play OLB.

I don't think there is any way Levi Brown gets out of the top 15, I personally think he is a lock to go top 10. Too many teams craving a LT of this caliber IMO.

I would have to say the most interesting thing about this draft is the diverity of opinions on how the WR's stack up. It is going to be real interesting to see how these guys actually go in the draft, and even more interesting to see how they develope.

Most of us seem to have pretty strong opinions in regard to the WR/WR's we favor, sure makes it exciting. Of the top four or five WR's, I think Ive seen every one of them either be someones favorite, or least favorite.

You know whats weird both of those players are from the same school!! bizarre considering there are 116 other division 1 teams with very qualified players.......thats just the kinda close mindedness we need around here!!
