I thought he did a decent job too, but I have to wonder who he was lining up against in those games? I think it was San Francisco and Chicago.

But from what I've read and what Clayborn has said, he saw a flaw in his hand usage and thought he could exploit it. When he did, Green had no answer and he beat him with it again and again and again.

And then he beat Bell with it as well when he came in to replace him. Clayborn himself said "I've got one move, and it worked" again and again and again.

Flaw in his hand usage???? Chaz didn't even touch him most of the speed rushes. He wasn't close enough to need to exploit a flaw in his hand usage.

Green was stuck in the mud. He simply wasnt quick enough to get to the outside rush. There is no curing that.

That actually crossed my mind also. Because it's not like he was going against Reggie White 2.0. Very perplexing. Maybe he was hung over

I forgot about the party angle. Maybe he stayed up drinking the night before with the ladies of ATL...

He had been more than solid prior to that game.

Need a larger sample of suckitude before I call the guy a complete bum

Its time for you to just fess up and admit how monumentally wrong you were about Chaz Green. You and I have been going at it for 2 years now. Chaz Green is garbage. Even just for the injury problem he is garbage. Now we see quite plainly that even when he plays he is garbage. I recall quite fondly you calling me a mean person many times because I thought Green was a bust. Be a man.....................admit it.

He was also dumb enough to not remember where he had help coming when he did get it.

But yeah, this is the same guy that this staff was trying to shoehorn into being a starter at left guard, remember?

Good times...

Took a dive? That sounds like something the guy in your avatar would come up with.

Is that the poster who would rush to Green's defense at every turn? I remember there being one but I wasn't sure what the name was. I expected that person to now be in hiding.

Ok so obviously some of you can’t raise your hands, casual fans I get it..

To the rest of you as We recall, Chaz took all the reps in Preseason. He had Two Holding calls which when you consider the alternative, he kept Dak clean..

I’d rather get two holding calls vs 2+ sacks..

In any event, something doesn’t add up. Either he was playing injured or he took a dive...

We have more than 3 samples of Chaz playing well prior including preseason...

-Carry on casual fans

that is BS. Other then two fill in games where he played passable he has looked like complete garbage. I recall most preseason games where he couldnt even block 3rd stringers. And holding calls have always been a staple for him. Lets just call a spade a spade. He sucks. If you cant see that after Sunday there is no hope for you.

Thats the one. If you started a thread about how bad he was, he would come out all angry swinging.

I don't think Chaz Green got paid off. What I do think is, he really had a bad game and needed help. I'm mad about Chaz Green, not at Chaz Green. Sometimes play crap the bed. I'm extremely mad at the coaching staff for not doing something about it.

Yep he lost the RT competition after two days. Then he lost the guard competition. Then he got hurt. Now he is needed as a fill in and he gives up 6 sacks? If that isnt the definition of garbage I dont know what is. And lets not forget he has been mostly too inured to play the first 2 years and an injury, part time player in college.

I don't remember there ever was a RT competition.

But this team essentially forced him into the lineup at left guard, despite Cooper clearly being better. Not excusing and not forgetting that one.

But Green is at the point where his next move is out the door. Not only is he rarely healthy, even when he is, he's a complete liability out there. Barring a monumental comeback, this guy is on his way out of this league.

Show of hands..

How many of you know this was Chaz Greens 4rth time he filled in for Tyron Smith?

And how many are baffled (Because that’s all they talked about on Sports Radio the day after,) that Chaz went from serviceable (First 3 fill-ins did ok,) to completely abysmal (Total turnstile?)

Never mind, we already know more than half of you don’t know this...

-Carry on

But seriously am I the only here that thinks Chaz “Took a dive” on purpose? It’s like somebody said hey Chaz here’s $500K, go ahead and not even try (Because in the past we’ve seen him at least Hold the pass rusher.) I smell a rat. Was he injured in practice again?

WTH happened? Nobody is even acknowledging this except Sports radio...

Chaz downfall started the 2nd game this year and went into the abyss from there. He was leading with his head constantly in the 3rd game.....it was a pitiful show! I don't know exactly what happened, but once his play got called out- it has degraded to not even trying anymore. I'm quite pissed at his downfall, it's not anything I've seen from him.

He's absolutely terrible right now.... And it's in his head

Green is terrible but who knows. In today's era of pro sports, it wouldn't surprise me. Maybe Clayborn promised him some of that bonus he'd receive. Chaz Green is from Tampa, Clayborn spent four years with the Bucs. Maybe there is some type of relationship, common connections there :omg:

Oh this is going to hurt but I'll tell it anyway

Many many years ago I was a sophomore in high school started at tackle on offense and defense. played a couple games had great success on both sides of the ball.
One day in practice they put this little skinny fast dude in front of me and told him if he got past me I would have to run laps, I still don't know what happened to this day but I couldn't touch the guy. he either blew past me outside or juked me and went inside but either way my mojo was gone and he had his way with me for the remainder of practice. (Not sexually I might add you sick bastids).

Anyway I told the coach after practice don't ever put me on the offensive line again I'll just be a one-way player and that's that.

Keep in mind this was back in the day when you couldn't use your hands on offense of line you had to block with your elbows.

Now I'm not saying greens a good guy that had a bad day I think he's a bad guy that had a horrible day.
But did he take a dive? no not likely.
There you go, laugh it up fuzz balls.
And by the way I was all League DT.
