You think the anti-Davis wailing started today? Get real. Everyone knew this guy was a colossal red flag. All you have is wishful thinking. We have every right to ***** if there were better alternatives: Stein, Dockery, or the draft.

we all knew Davis was on the radar...it was all over the media wire....we knew Davis was someone Dallas wanted...so we have had like 2 weeks to be prepared for the signing.

Yes, we all saw the train wreck coming. So what? That means we have to like it? Jerry didn't have other options? He HAD to sign this career underachiever to a bloated contract? Dockery's contract is similarly insane, but at least he's an overachiever.

We also knew it would be a costly purchase, cause he is a FA....

I never really understood this philosophy when my Mom used to spout it while chewing me out for doing something stupid with my friends.

Leave it to my 14 year old daughter to put it in perspective. Her e-mail sig line says something to this effect.

"Laugh, and I'll laugh with you. Tell a joke and I'll laugh at you. Jump off a cliff and I'll really laugh at you."

if my friend jumped off a bridge, I would move out of the way so he wouldnt land on me..........u wont see my happy butt on a bridge....i like to stay as close to sea level as possible.
