Yes sir, that's right. I like his chances I really do.Let's just hope he connects with them when the game is on the line

Nah, it was half and half. He made a good point.lmao...you think he he was acknowledging you, but you don't realize he was making fun of you with "the best post of you career".
Maybe the players need a relaxed underdog goofballI think he, and the entire coaching staff will be much better than expected. Most fans saying he is just another puppet.
From what we seen so far, he is not. There will be a learning curve, for Brian, and his staff, as well as the players and as usual the rookies.
Will that translate into winning the NFCE, making the playoffs. Yes, wait and see, it is all we can do.
But it does make this off-season much more exciting and to look forward to the season. Not expecting miracles.
This is no where the same nor is it an analogy. Kind of reminds me of when Jimmy and Jerry took over, and made changes, and a lot of them to build those SB teams. But from a fans standpoint, gives us something to look forward to, though we know there is a ways to go yet as well. Big difference is now though. Jerry is more set in his dilemma of doing it his way, but seems to be giving Brian a lot of leeway for his own staff, and player acquisition.
Was going to say this after reading all comments.Hopefully they’ve built in the flexibility to change that if it becomes too much.
yeah, its all sunshine and rainbows right now, but this is the easy part. We are likely to get punched in the mouth early this year with Philly being game 1. How the coaching staff get the team to respond to some of that adversity is going to tell us 80% of what we need to know.We will learn a great deal about all the coaches in the first game.
When Philly starts running on us, what will Flus do to stop it. Will he sacrifice in other areas and do anything and everything to stop the run, or will he be like Quinn and just keep running the same thing over and over, stubbornly.
When Philly gets a 2 score lead on us and the run game is struggling and Booker gets called for a couple of penalties, will Shotty abandon the run game and start calling pass after pass until Dak has thrown the ball 35-40 times? Or will he stay the course and hope the offense finds a groove in the 4th quarter, or at least finds something to build on in game 2?
We all want to win that first game vs. Philly, but in reality, it shouldn't happen; they are the better team. I want to see if these coaches do something different when the better team starts playing like the better team. If Flus allows Philly to run it down our throats in fear of the pass game beating us on big plays, and if Shotty has Dak throw 40 passes, putting him at risk, putting the OL in a bind, and neglecting balance in his first game as coach, then they will lose a little credibility with fans and in the locker room.
I think BS will be much tougher and hard nosed than those 2 guys.Maybe the players need a relaxed underdog goofball
Coach and not a try hard teacher pet like
McCarthy and Garrett
I share in this concern of yours. I don't believe a HC has to call plays. More important is to set the culture of PERFORMANCE.My only concern is can he do both now. Calling the offense and being the HC is a lot of work.
Resident debby downer always has to crap on someone. Coogi doesn't mess with anyone, you just want attention.lmao...you think he he was acknowledging you, but you don't realize he was making fun of you with "the best post of you career".
I mean its not a terrible take. How good of an OC was Doug Pederson before winning his ring? Or Siranni? Or CoughlinJerry has this fan base grasping for any grain of positivity....I guess 30 years will do that to you. A mediocre OC is now going to become the savior at HC....that's a new take at least.
Nick SirianniCan’t think of a decent coordinator that became a better HC than coordinator. The real good to great HC’s were all excellent coordinators. That’s how they got HC opportunities.
Coughlin came to the NFL after being a Head Coach at Boston College. He took expanion Jacksonville to playoffas nad won 2 SBs with the Giants. He had pedigree already.I mean its not a terrible take. How good of an OC was Doug Pederson before winning his ring? Or Siranni? Or Coughlin

Pederson at least called plays for Andy Reid at KC and was a long time QB in the NFL.....
Sirriani may be the closest to this Schotty guy.
Not fallen for it, honey. Go rabbit hole someone else if you are bored.Resident debby downer always has to crap on someone. Coogi doesn't mess with anyone, you just want attention.
