Carpenter or Spears trade a first rounder bust for a productive one. But, Akin makes sense

Na they have the kid Scaffe, he's a good TE, I doubt it will be a TE...
Scaife is ok. Right after I posted that, I realized they also signed Alge Crumpler. They're set at TE.

Burnett? His contract is coming up soon. With all the LB talent I doubt we would try too hard to re-sign him. And he could go back to the state where he played college ball.

ohhh i know this one....Coakley?

:laugh2:

I hope people noticed it was a 7th and a player. That might be better than a 4th or 5th, depending of course on which player it is.

That's a thought as well. He'd be going back "home" to Tennessee.

The Cowboys need to realize that no one else is bidding for Pacman. Stick with the 7th rd draft pick. The Cowboys don't have to offer another player.

All this talk lecturing Jones about not outbidding himself is really funny to me. Do you people actually think this is the first time Jones has attempted to pull off a trade? You think he would be negotiating and upping his price if there weren't any other teams invovled? Granted, he does seem to do some dumb things (usually invovling the draft) but he is not a dipstick.

We don't need him either. We must approach this as doing the Titans a favor. We are the ones taking a chance.

I think Bo Scaif is a very talented player. GO HORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry, get it over with........just make it user friendly

then get onto a vet WR-----Det's Roy W preferably.....

get these "needs" out of the way prior to draft----then take the best player available wherever you draft-day trades take the Cowboys.......

Crayton would be huge for the Titans because they have no receiving weapons period. He could potentially be there #1. But I can't see us giving up Crayton and a pick. My guess is...

Terry Glenn. Both are gambles, but if both players work out for their respective teams, it would be a huge benefit. Terry Glenn and a 6th for Pacman sounds like a deal to me!
