I need to see this clear picture of his feet off the ground cause it certainly didn't look like they were off the ground on the replay footage.

Edit- After looking at the picture there are two things wrong with your theory.

#1 you can only see that one foot is clearly off the ground and the #2 thing is that is right at the moment he caught the ball and is not an accurate picture of the play as a whole. You need a picture of after he's caught the ball, come to the ground, and turned his body toward the out of bounds.

It was a TD and it's sour grapes from people attempting to take that TD away because they are upset the Steelers won.

Word. They are just hating on the Steelers big time.

Just respect them for 'doing work' all season.

I'm guessing any of you who don't think it was a touchdown weren't watching it in HD.

It was good. No doubt about it.

I don't know how anybody could definitively say his feet were on the ground. I couldn't tell from any angle but they ruled it a TD and they couldn't overturn it IMO.

I watched it in HD, with tivo, and rewinded the field level angle several times. I don't think his foot ever hit.

I don't care to argue though.

I looked at several times. It seemed to me like only one foot was down for certain, but the other one, was an inch higher, with his toe on the back of the other foot's cleats. It wasn't conclusive at all, but they called it a TD. And the ref who called it a TD was like at the 10 yard line, and he came running in like he was certain that he saw it as a TD. In other words, he made sure that the call could not be overruled in case of doubt. There is no way he was certain from back at the 10 yard line.

Guys that is a still photo his foot might have just come off or was about to touch down. It was a great throw and catch. Pittsburgh won so now Dallas has to get another ring to catch them.

I have watched the replay several times and while one foot was on the ground, the other foot was on the back of cleats.

The second foot never touched the ground until he fell out of bounds. Should not have been a TD in my opinion.

However, the fact that 3 Cardinals were just standing there and never made a play on the ball was what I found most disturbing.

Originally I thought he only got one foot down but on the alternate view that clearly wasnt the case. Nice play by Holmes and a great throw by Ben.

I gotta give it to Ben, that was a perfect throw. I'm not sure what any of the 3 could have done about it.

The replays are not conclusive either way. Regardless, not enough to overturn the call on the field. Of course, that didn't stop the call from being reversed in the Steelers favor against Baltimore. I am not sure why they didn't review the last Warner "fumble". I thought a case could be made for the arm going forward giving the Cards one more shot from about the 27 yard line (after the penalty on the Steelers for taking the helmet off). Maybe it was a fumble, but how do you not review it?

I bet SI put that up simply so people would talk about it just like this.

That was a total BS call, Warner's arm was clearly going forward with the ball still in the hand. The only way that is a fumble is if it is an empty hand situation.

Meaning, if the ball is knocked out of your hand BEFORE the arm moves forward and it is your empty hand that moves forward, it is a fumble.

However, replay cleary showed that the ball was still in Warner's hand as the arm was moving forward, that is a texbook definition of an incomplete pass.

(Unless you are playing Pittsburgh)

You might be right, but I can't understand why they didn't review it. Seems like an abundance of caution would demand a review in that situation.

The replay during the game clearly showed both feet down.

Exactly... What is a picture going to show that a video can't trump? I watched the replay video twice, His toes were initially off the ground. After the catch the touched and then came back up before he rolled out of bounds. Easy call for the TD.

People should be complaining more about Holmes not getting a personal foul for using the football as a prop. Took 15 yards of field position away from the Cards at least on that last drive. Really could have changed things.
