From the ground angle, it looks like his right foot is about half an inch above the ground.

To close to overturn, but technically I dont think he dotted the i.

I have watched the replay several times and while one foot was on the ground, the other foot was on the back of cleats.

The second foot never touched the ground until he fell out of bounds. Should not have been a TD in my opinion.

However, the fact that 3 Cardinals were just standing there and never made a play on the ball was what I found most disturbing.
Yep this is the way i saw it too, 1 foot was caught up on the back of his cleat.

WOW! - His feet was off the ground.

On please you take your own hate of Pitt and try to act as if they were handed the game. The catch was legit they showed it from several different angles bottom line is Holmes went up and made a fantastic play

Yep and I was pulling for the Cards, my 1st reaction was review the play. They did and as far as I could see as well as those who were watching the game with me it was a great play on the part of Holmes. I tip my hat to him and the Steelers they won it. I don't have to like it but I give credit where credit is due.

I don't think Fitzgerald's catch in the corner was a TD, either. Looked like the ball touched the ground to me.

Either way, it was a fun Superbowl to watch.

I was rooting fot the Cards too, but the bottom line is the Steelers made the plays and the Cards didn't. They had 100 yards to tackle Harrison and they couldn't. They couldn't cover Holmes on that last drive. The Steelers deserve to be the Champions!

Exactly. I was pulling for the Cards too. But no need to disrespect a great play. Posters making a big deal because his toe was half an inch off the ground.

I thought he was out at first. But after the replay shots, he made that catch in bounds, and there was not conclusive evidence to say anything but.

I agree with the OP... if you look at it from this angle, he didn't even have the ball in his hands!!!! Damn Stealers.

Right or wrong, who cares? It is what it is and nothing that can be done about it now. As for some with "sour grapes" as accused- I really don't see how any one could. It's a game, it's over, and like I said before, it just is what it is.

Excellent picture. I'm not sure how anyone can try and 100% claim that the foot isn't down with a picture like this. It looks like it's touching to me. Would be hard to claim otherwise.
