Sorry, guys, I'm totally on ABs side on this. Keyshawn isn't 1/2 the WR Bryant is, and wasn't 2 years ago, either. They handed Keyshawn the starting job, and Bryant felt like he wasn't even getting a chance to win it. He reacted badly, let it get way out of hand, and screwed himself with that outburst. If I was Parcells, I'd have kicked Haley and Keyshawn off the team. Then we'd have a young, talented WR, we wouldn't have to throw millions at a real headcase in TO, and we probably wouldn't be looking at an undrafted rookie like Hurd to fill out our WR corps. Just my $0.02.
I'm not sure there is anything I agree with in that post.

I agree. I loved his talent. And if TO isn't too much of a head case....if Keyshawn isn't too much of a head case....then IMO, neither is Bryant.

They have credentials, AB had the potential but the only credentials he had was, he was a head case.

If we still had AB we wouldn't have to be shopping for a receiver right now.

He has barely developed into a solid #2 receiver but SF was stupid enough to pay him #1 money. I am sorry but no team is afraid of AB beating them.

What about the part where AB didn't run the right routes, and then he refused to leave the field for a substitution package DURING A GAME?

Sorry, but AB isn't the WR that Key was. He's a bigger headcase on the field than Owens ever will be, and for my money, I'd rather have Hurd.

FWIW, I think Jerry stated that Bryant's release had a whole lot more to do with dropped balls than attitude.

Key has never publicly disrespected Parcells. That's why Bryant isn't here bottomline.

They knew AB was an extremely talented, extremely young, head case when they drafted him. They knew it would likely take a few years to develop him. AB just turned 25, looks like he's ready to start a long pro career.

Somebody decided they were willing to sacrifice the future to try and win now.

There is a REASON the Browns dropped him. There is a reason the Boys dropped him. SF will find it out in due time.
