Is it just me or is anyone else getting tired of hearing about Brett and what Brett wants to actually do regarding his football career? They now say that Brett has signed his reinstatement letter, but might wait till Tuesday to turn it over to Goodell. Really?

Brett obviously is in his element. Garnering headline after headline. The media sure loves Brett, the NFL's Drama Queen.

I just hope that he signs for a team that plays against Green Bay at Lambeau this season or next. Hearing all those cheese heads boo him and seeing his reaction would be more awesomer then a fridge full of delicious cake, the only thing that could make it even morer awesomer then that would be having a tearful Madden rip the fans a new one for disrespecting his boy.

Favre has always been just about Favre.

He used his dad's death to get face time, his wife's breast cancer to get face time, Hurricane Katrina to get face time etc

I like Brett but all this coverage is idiotic...I mean we all know whats gonna happen......hes coming back, hes gonna play for another team, and Rodgers is gonna get ripped apart everytime Pack loses and Favre wins....and Madden is gonna defend him till death...

with 32 teams starting traing camp, all the rookie signings, and all the injuries to report all we are hearing is how Favre has told the Packers hes gonna report to camp......I call BS...hes not gonna go to their camp...if I were the Pack id say.."come on bring your clip board"

You gotta feel for Rogers whose been sitting behind Favre for about 3-4 years now, was told he's the Packers starting QB this year & the offense was set up for him and now he finds himself locked in a situation he can't win unless he never makes a mistake, wins the SB and also the MVP for the 2008 season plus he's got to be letter perfect and say nothing which anyone could construe as less then respectful toward the great Favre.

It's tough enough to follow a legend; we Cowboys all know about that when Aikman was forced to retire. Just glad there about 8 QBs between Aikman & Romo so he never had to deal with that problem. BTW: I expect Romo has a lot of sympathy because both had to wait so long to finally get to start.

Oh forget about it Fletch.... Princess Leia... err... I mean Favre is playing everyone like he always has....

You gotta see up here in NY... a sports journalist, Mike Lupica is writing articles about how and why the Jets should get Favre... he says THEY HAVE TO GET HIM, otherwise they are doomed... they need him, they are nothing without him....well thats the essence of what he is saying...

Even in the UK I'm bored of it now, and we only get Total Access once a day.

For Gawds sake man make your mind up what you want to do, and get on with it.

You know it's bad when Favre has his own section on the ESPN ticker!

I agree that the media coverage is overdone (as per usual), but the Packers had ample opportunities along the way to not turn this into the pissing contest it is now.

If they'd simply started the trade conversations at the first opportunity, rather than all this "Brett's only choice is to come back and hold a clipboard" crap intended to I guess bully him into going away, then this would probably all be long over, and he'd be with whatever team, and the Packers could be answering questions about their new offense and Ryan Grant's holdout (which wouldn't be the top story anywhere other than Green Bay) instead of all this other garbage.

I'm not saying Brett's the innocent here--because, dude, make up your mind already--I'm just saying the team is paying a price for how they've handled the situation.
