I would have no problem with him in the second. Sucks our picks are so low
I would.

Very sick and tired of redshirts. And no matter what he Tweets out right now, he is going to be dealing with this for at least a calendar year.

Sure he could play, just not at 100%. Very little point to forcing it, especially for a player that depends on his wheels like a cornerback.

Have medical procedures advanced so much that this isn't a bigdeal for a Corner?

This used to be the death penalty of injuries for a CB.

I'll call BS on that but even if he does play he won't be anywhere close to 100%.
It's typically closer to 2 years before they've fully recovered if they ever do. So if he is in fact capable of playing at the end of the season, he won't be back to what he was and a rookie on top of that. Not exactly conducive of a player you expect to contribute. Teams are going to evaluate him as a redshirt player and rightfully so.

They have no idea how he will recover from this injury.

He has Jaylon Smith type potential with a less severe injury history. He needs some technique tweaking for the NFL to become a very good CB. I say if you liked the Jaylon pick this is one with less downside.

I can see it both ways but being as our second is basically a third I could accept it if we had him as a top 15 db and he is clearly the best player available at that point.

Although this year theres most likely going to be a heck of a player, ready to play right away because of the depth so that would definately be the better option and why i like him in the third/fourth ideally

3rd Day- Round 6 or 7

No more Day 1 or 2 projects
That would be nice, but if doctors say that he could be back on the field by mid season and return to 100% then I dont see anyway he gets past early third imo.

Just takes one team with patience like the damn pats or extra picks like the browns, kids just way too good

How can you say it is less severe. He may never run like he used to and if he can't he is finished.
