How can you say it is less severe. He may never run like he used to and if he can't he is finished.

Probable outcomes determines the severity. Both Smith and Jones's injury should create a pause when contemplating a player's future in the NFL.

I would trade out of the first round and scoop him and Walker in the second and perhaps Smoot in the third.

I am sorry but unless I run out of players on my board whom I believe can play or the value becomes so overwhelming at later rounds I won't pick an injured player. That's just me. JJ is a different story.
