#1. It amazes me how you live in DC (unless your from Dallas) and become a Cowboys fan. Can you say bandwagon!!

So you have to be in Dallas to be a Cowboys fan? Do you say that to the many of Commander fans thats around the country that posts on extremeskins? Yeah most of the Cowboy fans are jumping on the bandwagon of a team that went 6-10 last year. What and idiotic comment.

I'm from Huntington, WV. Lots of Steelers fans and Cowboys fans here. However, there are a lot of fair-weather foreskins fans here.

I'm really tired of these Skins fans coming on here and acting like they played an awesome game last night. The truth is, you all did get lucky on those plays. We shut you out for 55 minutes. However, a win is a win and you all got the win. But whenever you can beat us 14 out of 16 times (or however many wins we had, i lost count a while back), come back and we can talk. Until then, just ****!!!

I stopped after #1. I live in DC and I'm a Cowboys fan. Doesn't mean I became one in DC. Sheesh. The Commanders win on two big plays in two minutes upping there record the past 8 years to 2-14 against the Cowboys and their fans start trashtalking. Logic and wisdom are just beyond some people I guess.

AA county here. Heard from a few skins fans, but nothing too bad. Let them enjoy the win, paybacks in December. Just ignore the skins troll in the thread.

I live in Skins country and I'm a Cowboys fan because my dad was a Commanders fan. Ever since I was old enough to watch the games with him, I've been a Cowboys fan (back in the 80s). My dad really hated Tom Landry and there were few things more fun than a Sunday with the old man when the 'Skins were losing. That's how I learned to string profanity together. I guess that makes me a bandwagon fan.

My friends, you all have no idea. Try living in Philly!!! Granted, I'm not Boy's fan, but my god, Eagle Fans take the cake. Ignorant, bandwagon jumping, a-holes.

Iggle fans are with out a doubt the most hated fans of any teams fans, including the NY Yankmee's.

Clinton MD (10 minutes from DC... 10-15 minutes from FedEx field). The Commander fans are outrageous. As stated by others, they feel like manna has fallen from Heaven and they've received a blessing that they so deserve. It's unbelievable how they can be excited over a 1 point victory that showed that they can only win if the other team makes a mistake. My wife's a Commander fan so I try not to be disrepectful. But, come on! Enjoy the victory, realize in truth how it came about and work on your faults... which are more than a few.

Pollin and Czaban of SportsTalk 980 are (as they say) "drinking the Kool-Aid." I believe I heard one of them say the Skins could go 12-4. Unbelievable!

Here is a good response from a Skins fan from another board. The most honest one I've read...

We Got Lucky (But Thank God For It!)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all you guys have a damned good football team. Good Quarterback, Good Running Back, Good Receivers, Good O-Line, Good D-Line, Great Linebackers, and probably the most physical secondary in football. That being said, you can never understand how much this win means to Commanders fans. We have been oppressed by your cowboys for DECADES (and will probably continue to be). Joe Gibbs has been EMBARASSED by Bill Parcells his entire career (and will certainly continue to be . . . the absolute worst playcaller in the NFL or College). Additionally our squad has been dwelling in complete mediocrity for the better part of 15 years. Do I think we're a better team? No. Do I think we are better coached? No. Did I proclaim on at least 3 occasions last night that this would be my last day as a skins fan? Yes. Did I cry pathetic tears of joy in front of my kids over a football game? YOU CAN'T PROVE IT!!! (but yes).

And yes our our coach and owner did look like a couple of "Queer as Folk" extras last night, but can you really blame them? We suck, you guys are good and have been good for the better part of a decade, but we beat you. Any given sunday right? We are still the weakest team in the NFC East; however, I really do feel this division is sending 3 teams to the playoffs. Definately the up and coming division in the league. Thanks for letting us win!

1 may be a lucky play but 2 ??? The skins coaching staff must saw something to call the same play again.

Heck anyone would call it again if it worked before, I too as some you live in the DC metro, PG County, Md., Both my borthers are skins fans and so are my friends and co-workers. Man you would think they have won the SB. People were saying "have a good Commanders Tuesday" to each other. I almost puked. But hey we have them again and we will see. :skins: :suxskins:

I am die hard Boys fan - I live in Maryland and work in Virginia....

Monday night killed me - couldn't sleep at all after the game...

And to top it off - I went to work on Tuesday - did not listen to any DC morning radio stations - got to work and all of my employees had taped the Washington Post Sports Page and a Commander's Banner to my office door....

Needless to say the day couldn't end fast enough....Skins fans are the worst - the team should be 0-2 and the fans ignore just how damn lucky they are..

They actually think they going to win the Division and go to the SuperBowl....

December 18th @ Fed Ex Field can't come soon enough for me...

i would say this is a boys fan posing as a skins fan. The game is played for 60 minutes if it wasn't we could erase alot of the Boys wins over the year. Remember last year (Vinnies miracle throw.) 1979! Clint Longley.

The boys have been beating the skins for years in the finalminutes the Skins do it and its luck.

Were luckyto be 2-0. I doubt you watched the Bears game. We pushed that D around for 60 minutes. Had a td called back on a bad call and handed them their only td. Gee the Bears looked pretty damn good in week 2.

Just suck it up (we've been doing it for years) YOU LOST!!!!!

They came out of the woodwork here in Northern VA. But you almost feel sorry for them-- this was the greatest glory they have had in over THIRTEEN YEARS.

Hey no crying from me, I'm a big boy. We lost, plain and simple.

But if you don't admit what this guy did, that until the last 4 minutes 99% of all Skins fans were cussing Gibbs and Brunell as being washed-up has beens who deserve each other, then I don't believe you are being honest.

Losing to WASH cuts deep.

But only those of us who live here amongst the filth that is the Commanders fanbase know what true anguish is.

We have to see these idiots around town and endure them and their remarks over and over and over again in our circles of daily life. It makes a loss like this sting that much more.
