No it isn't -- 10-15 yards doesn't mean anything to Peyton. We win or lose on two factors a) being able to pressure Manning and b) being able to run the ball to control the clock

There is a difference between roster spots and the game day roster. We have 45 people we can dress and we lost 1 of them, Greg. You want to replace Greg with a kicker? I would rather replace him with someone that could help in putting pressure on Manning on EVERY defensive play vs. trying to gain an extra 5-10 yards on each of our 10 kickoffs we'll have Sunday.

I'm talking about Glymph. He hasn't been active for the last few games has he? I've seen BC, Hoyte, and Al active, so I assumed he was not. He would be the likely choice to replace Greg on the game day roster.

This is exactly what BP is going through. It makes no sense to just replace Ellis with a kicker and he won't even make the 45 man roster. BP has to figure out which pressure player is best suited to play against Manning.

I agree, with the loss of Ellis Dallas can't afford to waste a spot on a 2nd kicker.

There's no player who we could sign that would in any way back fill for Ellis, especially this week. Someone on the 53 man will have to step up on the 45. I also don't think it will take 2 new players to replace him. I think it will be a rotation of Carp, Singleton, and Burnett. Suisham could walk off the street Sunday morning and have an impact.

Ellis will be replaced this week by players who were active last week: carpenter, burnett and singleton. safties will be watkins and davis, wr's same as last week unless glenn can play. If I were nervous about any position, it would be RB. With Hoyte at FB, if either jones or barber went down, there's no backup.

And Suisham was not active correct? I don't think he will be for this game either because that would force Dallas to sit one of these other players out and it is not worth it.

Kincade (sp?) is the 3rd string running back. He got some carries this past Sunday at end of the game.
