All of those seem about right... I like Canty and Hamlin's contracts (especially the guaranteed money), at this point I'm scared to even look at Ware's contract. Dude it gonna get QB money.

You can't sign them all. Ware is priority number one. Canty is important but replaceable. Hamlin is a luxury.

But we didn't draft him, he hasn't been here long, so I don't think he will feel obligated to stay.

Jared Allen signed at 7 years, 73 Mil with 31 guranteed.

Dwight Freeney signed a 6 year, 72 mil contract with just 15 guaranteed.

7 years 70 mil with 30 guaranteed is about on par with that, maybe he gets a few mil more or more guaranteed, but if he's asking for 80+ mil, that's not exactly reasonable and Ware is my favorite player on the team.

I know folks are wringing their hands over Ware's contract, I think the watermark should be wherever Suggs contract is...not Freeney's or Allen's. Yes he's a premier passrusher, but he's also considered a de/linebacker combo.

$25-30mil guaranteed is about right, especially if Joey Porter got an insane 20 mil guaranteed.

6mil a season, far too low?? In Hamlin's dreams.........he is getting 4.5 mil as an average of the top 5 safeties (a group to which he doesn't belong)......Hamlin is a good player, but he isn't worth "elite type" money....no way
