Signed T Charles Brown

Just put Dez on I.r. You know it will be at least 6 games.

I "liked" ur post you but don't like the notion, however agreeing that putting Dez on IR (after foot surgery to add a metal pin inside his broken foot) for at least 6 weeks is the best thing to do.

Witten is money, TWill has already showed that he is ready to step-up, Devin Street disappoints me, "the Bease" is kinda small and it makes him more one dimensional, Lucky Whitehead is not ready. Hoping for a Veteran signing.

Did James Jones sign with anyone? ;)

The Packers. He had two td's. Broaddus says we will bring one of the guys up from the practice squads. Says they have size. Sounds likely to me.

Sounds depressing to me. I think both of those guys are still projects and neither is likely to contribute much of anything. If you're bringing anyone in to try to replace any portion of Dez's production, these guys won't do that.

Just my opinion anyway.

So basically dunbar replaced Luckys roll on the team this past Sunday, so couldnt we activate Michaels and bring up a WR from the practice squad while releasing Whitehead

I think that is 8 weeks. They can practice after 42 days, but can't play for 2 more weeks.

Close call and it may be better safe than sorry, but if he is good after 4 weeks it would hard to see him on the bench.

This is the right choice
No way he can play in 4-6 weeks after that injury and surgery

Pretty sure we just signed him so he can try some field goals

James Jones signed with the Packers and might have been their best player in that game. I think he had 2 TDs and some other clutch catches.

Hopefully being IR/DTR can be back dated. After everyone cools down, sitting him for 6 weeks of no practice and 2 weeks of practice only may be the best course.

No way. Dez is the sort of player that you want back as soon as he is healthy. We really don't know how he's going to heal. The worst thing we could do is lose him for a game or two that he could have played. Most other guys you take that risk with, but not the most dominant guy on the field.

IDK, taking the emotional response out of his hands is what the FO needs to do.

Of course he is going to want to come back ASAP

These foot injuries are nothing to play with. Look at JJones and KDurant. They both wanted to come back early too.

Not what I was saying. If he's physically healed and ready in 5 weeks, then you've hosed yourself by putting him on the shelf.
