is Dallas might have two high first round draft picks next year. Its way to early to throw in the towel...but it does not look good when Aaron Glenn and Reeves will determine if Dallas runs the 3-4 or cover-2. The only thing to get us thru this is that Dallas might be in position next draft to take top CB and top RB.

There is NEVER a silver lining to having a crap season. NEVER.

OK-Assuming he'll be playing...

As much as it pains me to type this, maybe TNew's injury is a GOOD thing b/c I do NOT want him seeing returning punts(!).

Whenever he's back there, I keep holding my breath, especially whenever he gets JACKED.

Isn't the point of having him not return punts that he won't get injured?

Maybe it's all a big smokescreen to get more throws thrown to him because he "hobbled" up. Think about it.

I say sit Newman and let him heal. At least we know we get him at the end of the year. If he plays he couold be out the year.

Report: Dolphins dangling wideout Chambers

Chris Chambers - WR - MIA - Aug. 28 - 7:21 p.m. ET
NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Chris Chambers' name has come up in trade talks across the league in recent days.
Schefter says Reggie Williams and Michael Clayton are also being dangled by their respective franchises. Chambers has always been overrated by fans and the media, and that a receiver-weak Dolphins team would shop him just goes to make that more obvious. He might bring back a third-round pick as compensation. Williams and Clayton would likely net late-round choices.

I think Plaxico is dinged up too.

Nothing serious though from what I've read.

Otherwise known as "Plaxico doesn't want to participate in training camp."

He'll be fine come week 1.

And if anyone was actually worried about Chris Chamber, with or without Terrence Newman....I don't know what to tell you. He's a middle-class man's Brandon Lloyd. Sure, he could catch fire against us - but I wouldn't bet on it.

I believe we should just sit TNew until he heals up......stay off the feet.

Another Newman injury (umpteenth) inspired thread newsflash:

Teams, good or bad, win games without their starters

Newsflash part deux:

The Dallas Cowboys are not an exception to the rule

Now, let's return to the :eekmouse: which is still in progress.
