I hope we can wear the road Blues again. Missed em last season. I think the road Blues are beautiful.
They're actually my favorites. I've missed seeing them on the road as well.

Nice sig pic, by the way.

I noticed this training camp photo on their Facebook page. Unless they're planning to debut new pants in Week 1 vs the Jets, brace yourself for more green. http://img168.*************/img168/5295/1060v1ejpg.gif

Agree, they're nice but only on occasion. Just speaking to the helmet alone, I would not be happy for the discontinuing of the silver helmet and it's Star.
:welcome:

Yep, which means they've had a year to get their act together. Hell, the Bills completely redesigned their unis in the same time-span.

The Bills have nothing better to do. Also, they figure they can disguise themselves to distract others from thinking they're are a potential LA team transfer.

I like the green pants, it is part of the Cowboys tradition. What you don't like 4 different shades of blue??

No, it was a terrible deviation from tradition, like sewing numbers on the pants. What has been done can be undone.

Ya the blues look nice, my favorite jerseys are the all dark blue ones, simple and classic.

Now, Schramm did that because he wanted the players to be identified when the shot or the angle obstructed their jersey numbers. Is that correct?

Beats me. Only a few other teams went that route (Packers, Colts, etc.) Kudos to Jimmy or Jerry for getting rid of them in 1989.

Aren't the throwback pants white?

Only if you go WAY back - the elite teams of the 1970's wore gray, which kind of morphed to silver at one point.

I never really noticed it until HD in the Texas sun. BBGun had some pics of it that were crazy noticeable

The first time I noticed there was a greenish tint to our home pants was against the Rams in 2007. The high September sun was shining through the hole in the roof so brightly that I noticed it.

Personally, it doesn't bother me. I don't care what minor modifications they make to the uniforms. I'm not puritans like some of you. If they want to bring the numbers back on the side of the pants, I don't care. If they want to put "Cowboys" back on the front of the jersey in small letters, I don't care.

The only time I'm going to join the puritans in their wardrobe outrage is if we go back to the early '60s uniforms or, for instance, the alleged new Nike uniforms.

I wish we could have these as our throwbacks, because they actually throwback to an era for which we have pride:

It will be one of those things that once its taken care of it will make soooo much more sense.

Sort of like 2 pre-season games and 16 Thursday nighters.

When do the 16 Thursday night games start anyway?
