Cowher is pretty overrated IMO...lots of hype and put on a pedestal, but also firmly believed in a total zero of a QB for yrs (Kordell), lots of home playoff losses and only won a championship due to really bad officiating

I don't believe Simms pulled this out of the air. When he says it's just a gut feeling you can bet he's basing his comment on a conversation with Parcells or former teammates that have talked with Parcells or something like that and he doesn't want to say who he talked to about it.

I happen to put some stock in what Simms has to say on the subject.

I mean seriously, Cowher is overated when all he does is keep his team in contention all the while the owners let their players walk year after year.

You've got some tough standards, I think JJ should just hire you, you probably think you would do a better job than 90% of the guys out there anyway
