Is there a coach you actually do like David?

I mean seriously, Cowher is overated when all he does is keep his team in contention all the while the owners let their players walk year after year.

You've got some tough standards, I think JJ should just hire you, you probably think you would do a better job than 90% of the guys out there anyway

I loved the Parcells move when we made it, but today after 4yrs of it, its time to move on...it isnt working

I actually liked the Gailey hiring too when it was made, however after the way that season ended and then the Arizona debacle in the playoffs, it was painfully obvious he was in over his head...and after several yrs of seeing him coach like an idiot at Ga Tech, nothing has changed my mind on him

as an aside, I've always wondered how things would have turned out if we had got Terrry Donahue in 1998 (like we were on the verge of) instead of settling for Gailey...Donahue was terrible as a GM in SF, but I always thought he was one of those college coaches that would have made a very godo NFL coach
