Since I keep seeing articles about us drafting Sutton

He was and is more accurate than dak. You can point outta every mistake romo made and it won’t change the fact that at least 20 of fess incompletions we’re very bad passes by dak.

Really because through each player’s first two years Dak has a better completion percentage and rating than the great Romo.
People keep forgetting how young Dak is.

I looked at his numbers and compared them to another receiver.
He ran 4.54 at 218 6'3 3/8 Deandre Hopkins rand 4.57 at 6'1 214
20 yard shuttle 4.11 20 yard shuttle 4.5
vertical 35.5 inches Vertical 37
arm length 32 3/8 33 3/8
hand size 9 3/4 10

Whenever I see negative articles about a guys ability to run or separate, I look for receiver with similar numbers. If he's not great, it won't be because of his speed or size. It'll be because of him not working on routes because his stop and start quickness is better than an all pro as well as his speed.
I also read about him because I know Dallas doesnt draft receivers the run faster than 4.5.
I like Sutton ok, but he couldn't be more different than Hopkins as a receiver.
His biggest weakness is literally Hopkins' greatest strength

Again..I'm not against Sutton at all...if he somehow fell to 50.
His upside is really enticing

Im warming up big time to Sutton to the point where I wouldnt be dissapointed if we took him in the first. 6"4" 220 with 4.5 speed and fly trap mitts could be a dominant player imo

I’m talking about real accuracy not completion percentage. You can complete 15 balls to running backs and have a high percentage.
I’m taking about putting the balk where you want. Dak isn’t that accurate.

4.54 and the same 20 yard shuttle as a brown.

Anyone who doesn't think Sutton gets separation hasn't seen any of his game tape
I like the kid
He’s still raw but he has talent
I wouldn’t take him at 19 but I’d like to have him to develope

What the ?
I know you didn't just say TO and Moss. Moss is the best deep threat ever. He would get 5-10 yards of separation half the time. TO got yards of separation too. d hall ran 4.35. Lito Sheppard ran 4.39. TO smoke Lito on Monday night Football by about 20 yards. He ran past D Hall too when he was with the cowboys. TO is a big receiver but he separated too. Calvin Johnson was a average route runner so he would just jump over you. He ran 4.3, so he would get separation too. He was faster than Julio Jones.
Ummm you said big guys dont get separation. Which one is it? They do, or they dont? The players I mentioned are all big guys. I didnt even mention Julio and Evans

Moore and Sutton are #1 and #2 for me. I would lose my mind if Moore were still there in 2nd rd, but he is now getting a lot of press as the potential top WR in the draft so I don’t see him making it out of the first rd. Ridley is a “name” and I hope that someone else wastes a pick on him. I don’t want any Alabama players being the pick

Sutton? I would almost as giddy as with Moore if he were the pick in rd 2. I hope dallas doesn’t reach to pick him at 19 with all of the defensive needs
Yeah we don't want top talent that consistently wins championships from Alabama when there are small school standouts to be had.

Lol ok. Real accuracy. Got it.

If we cant land Tremaine Edmunds, Rowuan Smith, Leighton Vander Esch, or Rashaan Evan's then we should draft Sutton or trade down. I wouldnt mind St. Brown or D.J Clark in the 3rd if there.

Linebacker to me is our top priority in the 1st. We need someone for the middle. Plus Lee is getting old and hasnt played a full season in awhile

Fitzgerald didn’t deforested in college. He didn’t desperate much in the nfl.

de·for·est
