Since the Dak record contract extension in 2024

The entire locker room should have been purged and cleaned out. Like literally no memory of that travesty should have been allowed to remain.
I agree. But ultimately it wouldn’t have mattered. No one from that 2014 debacle is here today. You can get rid of the players but if Jerry is there I’m not sure it matters.

Does it change anything if Jerry literally doesn't remember anything back that far?

Actually many people don't know that. Like the people who keep stats.
Those same people keep G and K win stats. There are stats for everything after all. Its just that people that seek over an elementary school level understanding of football know or understand that wins do not belong a single position or player.

It's definitely fine to celebrate regular-season stats, and there is no doubt his numbers look great on paper during October.
The real test for Dallas has never been about whether he can put up top-5 numbers in the regular season; it’s about whether those stats translate to winning games when the season is on the line in January. If you are happy with great regular-season stat sheets, then the current setup works out well. But for a lot of football fans, those numbers don't mean much without a deep playoff run to match them.
If those regular season stats are the only thing...then of course you cango all off season happy.

For the rest of us...stinking up in the playoffs lingers like limburger cheese for a LONG time. Dead fish on the beach. A porta potty filled to the brim.
