McCarthy was interviewed on the sideline at the end of the 1st quarter and said he liked how the Boys were playing after getting their ***** handed to them. They were 6.5 point favorites at home, against a backup Qb, no hall of fame LT, no TE etc. It’s not like Dallas was massive favorites

Sadly, with their schedule they can sleepwalk to 16-1/15-2. They will get the 1 seed and the bye week.

Steelers. Texans, Commanders, Colts, Packers, Titans, Giants, Bears, Saints. Outside of Dallas and New York, I don’t really see a single loss.

They’ll lose at least a couple of those. The Steelers just beat the Bucs. Injuries happen and their gimmicky offense will get more figured out as the season goes.

I actually like him doing this as it fans the fire of rivalry, almost non-existent in today's NFL.

He rode into Philly with one of the most puzzling opening pc's I have ever seen so he is a bit of a weird duck. He does have some fellow Dallas hating players to help him back it up the next time they meet.

I think before we go off on his antics, we need to consider what it is like to be the Eagles' HC facing the Cowboys at home with it really mattering. This was a showcase showdown only rivaled by BUF-KC. Think he and his fellow coaches and players didn't hear it all week in the local media? Believe me, up there Cowboys hate is real and real strong. I live in the Philly sports radio area. You nailed it when you said the rivalry is strong. They continually talked about the 50pts we put up on their scrubs last year and the overall W-L record against us. Sirianni is well received by the team and fans. He seems to be a player's coach. I have to accept last night loss and hope for revenge in December.

Don't worry, the RPO scheme and game management will fail in the end. Philly, IMO.....is not suited for being behind in a game. It will come to light during the season when Hurts is required to sail the ball downfield.

We ran the score up on them the last meeting in 2021.

They were playing their second stringers/backups and playing for nothing, while Dak was shooting for the Cowboys TD record and the Cowboys wanted to go into the playoffs on a high note (which didn't do them much good against the 9ers the following week).

What did they expect?
