Pappa is the giants announcer.

That is why I knew without having heard it myself that it was him who said it. He always takes shots at the cowboys organization. He used to do it back when I lived home and would watch the giants report on msg. He loves to take diggs at the cowboys.

He is an arrogant rick with a p who is pretty lousy at calling a game.

I can't think of another team with more talent. Maybe the Colts and Chargers, because of the way the Colts use their players.

It's time to finally put all that together. We added alot in the draft, and after this season, there is going to be some attrition - I have no doubt. We're well prepared for it now, especially with Jones and Choice in the fold, and I'm sure we'll find a way to bring in a vet WR next offseason.

Was that statement connected in any way to the trade, or was it just a random act of idiocy?

The attrition I see next year will be Terry Glenn, Roy Williams and Anthony Henry and Marcus Spears. Which means we will get younger and that will free more cap room to pay ware.

Here is a little tidbit from mickey spagnola from sunday afternoons draft coverage too.

Mickey told norm the reason they moved fasano was not because his shoulder injury or beacuse he wasnt talented but because he wasnt smart. He made a ton of mistakes last year and they didnt think he we would get smarter in the offseason.

Mickey said that a few guys in house told him that sunday night, it wasnt the shoulder injury but whats above his shoulders. So to me that says alot.

Not one of those guys is even 30 yet. Add in the fact that Owens, Henry, Flozell, Thomas and Ellis all have at least 2 more good years in them barring injury, I fail to see how Dallas is even remotely close to being "done"

I actually like Bob Papa. He's not bad on Sirius. But a few things to understand here is that Fasano is a jersey guy going to play in Miami, a team run by another Jersey guy. Of course Papa is going to rip that trade from the Cowboys perspective. Also, Akin Ayodele has a segment during the season on Papa and Cross' Sirius morning drive.

So I don't think he's giving an unbiased opinion here.

What they implied was that trade was terrible and an indication of how the Cowboys are going to be run. They basically said Jerry is back in control and is going to destroy the team so it is all downhill from now. That is why they said we better win this year.
