Skepticism abounds Jerry Jones' latest coaching vote of confidence

Holmgren as an aside is a big dude.. makes Jerry look like a peanut...

Well, there's a new standard for BS roughing calls.

Perfect tackle and they call "helmet to the chest of the QB".

Cost the Rams big time.

Moose just asked, "how many chances do these refs get"?

Good question. The helmet was to the side and he drilled Clemens right in the chest.

If this keeps happening I really think you'll see a time where some team gets so screwed that they put out talk of not taking the field. Honestly, what is the point in going out there and battling for 60 minutes if a perfectly clean play is going to cost you.

I know they want to make the game safe but you can't compromise the integrity of the game by throwing a flag every time a big hit happens. I almost wonder if these hits are going to be reviewable at some point.

Is the history of retread NFL coaches any better than college coaches coming to the NFL? How are we measuring success?

I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just curious.

Jimmy Johnson and Jim Harbaugh come to mind immediately. Pete Carroll who's tenure as an NFL HC was too short to really be what I consider a retread.

One never knows what Jerry will do.

Heck, if we flop the rest of the way, maybe, just maybe, Jerry gives in and Hires Holmgren as assistant GM.

It would be a step in the right direction.

We just won a division game, in bad weather, on the road, and have the NFC East lead by tiebreaker.
