they probably want somebody else to fall to them or want to increase the trade value of the pick. i too see the raiders taking cj 1st overall.

I see the Raiders picking up CJ if they get another QB (Carr). If not, it's Russell for them.
I honestly see this that if CJ falls to #6, ATL would probably give the skins the #8 and a second rounder. Take Landry at #8 and pick up a second tier DE like Moses.

How does CJ fall to #6 again?

Good analysis. I must admit I'm a little behind this year with my draftnick activities. Is Russell the real deal? he reminds me of Carr as far as being a one year wonder. Was he that good in prior years?

IF, IF!!! I think if the Raiders don't pick up Carr, then it's Russell for them. If so, then CJ may fall all the way to the Bucs. If the Bucs decide to go defense (Gruden loves his defense) then foreseeably CJ could fall to #6. If so, I think Washington would have a myriad of trade partners. We could drop a couple of spots and pick up Landry then go DE in the second/third and still get a good/great value. All big IFs..

Supposedly. He has one helluva arm. Ran the 40 in 4.8 I believe so not a threat on the run, but doesn't lose any arm strength if he does throw on the move. Big and strong.

Not really, considering the money they already have tied up in their rec. corp

Not in a million years would Gruden pass on CJ. If this were to be that millionth year, then there would be a mad rush to get CJ at #5.
