Seriously, I don't know why but I enjoy sneaking in on the skins boards/forums almost every weekend just to see how many threads they post about our boys. They are constantly conversating about the Cowboys and matter fact, I think the skins fans would be the only fans besides us who would know who guys like Kieth Davis, Pat Watkins, Tony Romo (befor the fame) & etc are. When all said and done, no matter how much they pretend to hate us I think they actualy would love to be us. Check this thread out...

Yea but we don't go on a post rant everytime they play, I mean every weekend there will be about 5-10 post about how we played and etc... We could care less how they played never the less post about it.

Not only that, but they are actually pulling for us the rest of the way. The reasoning is that they feel they have an outside shot at the wildcard. They know they aren't going to catch us and are depending on us to beat the remaining teams on our schedule that are ahead of them.

Now, I'm sure there are quite a few who wish nothing but the worst, but the smart ones are Cowboys fans for the rest of the season if they want any shot of getting in.

Just don't mention that you saw Campbell play against Carolina and:

1. That he played poorly.

2. His footwork, reads, and mechanics were not good.

3. The stats back it up.


They tend to not like it over there.

What's even funnier is that there are always TONS of Cowboys threads on Texans boards! As I've said, they hate the Cowboys more than they love their own team. I guess reading them is semi-trolling, but it's certainly worth a laugh or two.

If you say anything negative about a particular player they have, e.g. Jason Campbell, even if it is objective, it will go in one ear and right out of the other.

This happened in Lloyd's and Archuletta's cases earlier in the year, so I wouldn't expect anything different from them.

The strange part is that I agree with Gibbs, Brunnell gives them the best chance to win and I don't think Campbell is anywhere near being ready. Then I was told that I wasn't being objective and showed them his stats weren't good on any level (he actually had 2 INT's, but one got called back on a BS roughing call on Peppers).

I guess 11-23 for 118 yards and an INT is good play these days.

I'm not a big Brunnell fan, but I think he could've done better than that.

well, considering you are from the D.C. area, they are your biggest rival(at least I think so?), and they are ALWAYS on TV where you are, it is understandable.
