I guess 11-23 for 118 yards and an INT is good play these days.

Did you conveniently decide to omit his two touchdowns or was it lost in your "objective" analysis?

I'm not a big Brunnell fan, but I think he could've done better than that.

Not at all. In a game like that, he would've finished under 100 yards passing and no touchdowns, which he's done numerous times in his tenure as a Commander.

Campbell wasn't bad, but c'mon, that 2nd TD pass was all on Cooley

well, considering you are from the D.C. area, they are your biggest rival(at least I think so?), and they are ALWAYS on TV where you are, it is understandable.

Yep. It cracks me up when the ES bunch peg DC area Cowboys fans as being "ignorant about Cowboys," saying that most of them "couldn't name 3 players on the team."

Not only can I name every Cowboy on the roster, I can probably name more Redsk*ns than most Redsk*n fans! :laugh2:

Whatever happened to Old Ball Coach? He never finished registering.

Talk about an unhealthy negative obsession with the Redsk*ns! He's 10x worse than me. :D

I'll work on him. Things have been hectic around work this time of year.

I can understand your perspective on that play. Although it was a 20 yard pass, and alot of Skins fans are just happy to see a QB who can get the ball completed to a reciever that far period, he still gave Cooley to the opporunity to make that play. Something Brunell did very little of.

My whole point of pointing his comment out was he posted all of Campbell's stats except the two touchdowns, in a post that is stating Campbell played poorly. Just doesn't seem very objective to me.

I don't think I can go so far and say Campbell is playing great or really that good.

However I do have to give him a little credit.

As a guy on a questionable team, at this point, without one of his top playmakers (portis) and Moss coming back from injury.

I have to give him some credit because so far he has only thrown one INT.

Which honestly I thought would be higher at this point, even if they are playing it safe with him.

I dont think most fans are calling him "great" so far(well, at least reasonable fans for that matter). Its going to take time for him to get up to the level in which everyone(in which i mean Commander fans) expects him to play.

Personally, I think his success might be magnified a bit just because of the situation he has is in. We haven't had a good QB in how many years? Honestly, it's been too long to even try thinking about. People have been for this change for 2 years now, and now that it is finally here, they dont want to be dissapointed.

While he hasn't been spectacular, he hasn't been bad yet. And I think that that alone makes people happy. With someone like noodle arm at QB the past two years, I think it just makes people happy to see someone who can throw the ball 20 yards.

Well was not really talking about any skins fans saying he was great or good.

Just talking about my own opinion...just wanted to clarify that point.

I am not going to rag on the skins fans or the QB right now. Now I will not sugar coat it or let it go if someone says something I think is over the top.

But generally not going to bag on the guy or the skins fans for being excited.

They too soon forget that both of our teams have been held hostage from the QB position over the last many years.

It feels good to have a new young QB starting and it makes fans excited.

I mean Romo so far has been flat out amazing, really putting up rare numbers for just starting IMO.

So Sure Jason will pale in comparison, but that does not IMO mean he, Jason, is a scrub or terrible at this point.

He is starting out as most young QBs do, and with the lack of INTs so far that is not such a bad thing.
