***Skins/Panthers game thread***

Panther's defense is very good.

Their offense stinks.

I never thought Jake D was a great QB. Bus driver, yes.

So, is Washington better than their record....or...is Carolina suckier than their's?

Their defense wasn't very good when it mattered. Cooley is tough to bring down, but this is a game with playoff implications, and you just can't miss tackles like that.

Delhomme is aweful, he just threw the ball for grab even Steve Smith can save his axx.

He's always done that. He throws a jump ball and Smith more times than not goes up and gets it.

The NFC is truly terrible.

Either that, or we are really really good. If Indy played in the NFC East they wouldn't be so hot.

well, after last year, you cant really blame some of them for having hope...

Good point.

Your team was greatly helped due to injuries suffered by the rest of the NFC East. Same thing is happening this season. Hopefully, we'll stay healthy....

I'm glad the Skins beat the Panthers.

Better for us and at this point, the Skins winning means they drop further out of the top 5 next April. It's going to be a VERY good top of the board draft so I don't want the Skins picking that high.

false hope

your team is still terrible

Let´s then take off our hats for Gibbs, he´s a heck of a coach, but Im not saying anything new I guess...

and im not saying there not... Im just saying I can understand why some people might have that hope.

but its quite obvious in the differences between this teams team and last year

Why would we take our hats off for Gibbs?

They wouldn't be able to sign a top 5 pick. They spend like 500 billion in the free agency.

I believe the Skins were 5-6 last year before their great run.

At this point, they are 4-7. Best they can finish is 9-7 which will be on the razor's edge of the playoffs.

Their schedule isn't easy but at least is manageable:

Sun 12/3 Atlanta (lost four straight and look terrible)
Sun 12/10 Philadelphia (with McNabb out, things aren't looking good)
Sun 12/17 at New Orleans (a must-win and not an easy one)
Sun 12/24 at St. Louis (Holt must be salivating)
Sat 12/30 NY Giants (have looked better but aren't bad either)

Playoffs are unlikely, but aren't impossible.
