***Skins/Panthers game thread***

everyone realize that we're sitting in second place in the NFC right now?
If the playoffs started today, we'd get a bye and to host a playoff game.
That will last another week if the NYG lose today.

Yup.:starspin

The only thing thats bad about Washington winning this game is their fans actually think their team isn't as bad as it really is.

Commanders helped us today AND they hurt their draft position.

hahahahahaha

Is it just me or when we beat the Panthers, they were a has-been team and we were lucky they 'collapsed'. Now that the Skins are beating them, the Skins are looking like the cream of the NFC crop and they are 'dominating' a NFC powerhouse.
We're 4-7, what are you talking about?

how so? Greg Williams calls the D, which won the game for the Skins today

Yes, you´re right on that one.

Since this will inevitably be an issue for another week, here is the comparison between UFA Tony Romo and (Traded up to get him) 1st Round Jason Campbell against the same teams.

Tony Romo
Against Carolina: 24/36 270 yards 7.5 avg/att 1 TDs 1 Ints
Against Tampa Bay: 22/29 306 yards 10.6 avg/att 5 TDs 0 Ints

Jason Campbell
Against Carolina: 11/23 118 yards 5.1 avg/att. 2 TDs 1 Ints
Against Tampa Bay: 19/34 196 yards 5.8 avg/att 2 TDs 0 Ints

Against those two teams, here is the combined numbers:
Tony Romo: 46/65 (70.7%) 576 yards 8.8 avg/att 6 TDs 1 Int (2-0) 117.8 rating
Jason Campbell: 30/57 (52.6%) 314 yards 5.5 avg/att 4 TDs 1 Int (1-1) 68.7 qb rating

As good as Romo is, you'd think he could have beat the Commanders too huh?

He didn't lose that game...he put us in position to win it. Other factors including a bogus facemask call contributed to that loss.

He also gave up a TD

You are not paying attention very well, that was Shawn Springs. I know you're in this thread to dump on the Skins, but at least be accurate.

How in the world is Campbell's QB rating lower overall than it's been individually in his only two games? He posted a 92.3 in the first, and a 74.2 in the second.
