Why would you think he would be a good team mate as a back up? All the media would be interested in doing is putting a microphone in fron of his face and bating him into saying something negative about Romo. Let Arizona or Houston make a play for him.

With coaches like he has, who would take well to coaching? I'm not even a fan but his coach has eaten him alive in the media, which I've never seen a coach do so blatantly.
I think he makes too much to trade for him this year but next year there's something to work with, and there's virtually no risk since we have romo locked up for the next few years

I would be okay with him as a backup. We don't have the poisonous coaches and front office that Washington does and I think he could learn from Romo and Garret and Wade Wilson.

Why or how is everyone here so convinced hed be a terrible teammate in a new environment? People grow, people change and learn from their mistakes. The guy has pedigree which is why the Skins willingly fleeced themselves to trade up for him.
I think he'd be worth at least trying out as a backup.
Or like I said we can stick with our guy Weeden. He's also still developing

By the time RG3 is released or cut, the Cowboys have time to look for Weeden's replacement. RG3 is/was an nice athlete, but I don't think he has the smarts to actually play QB.
