Feel bad for anyone that bought tickets 4tto that Cowboys/Skins game next week. They probably thought it would be a huge game a few weeks ago but now it literally means nothing.

It will be like a preseason finale game..............both sides playing backups and scrubs, although for different purposes.

I love how in a "down" year a division crown "doesn't count" becase "everyone sucks"
you all are forgetting that the skins were picked by everyone to go 2-12, or 3-13
for a young team coming off last year's dumpster fire, it's a huge accomplishment, regardless of how inept everyone else is in the division.
The skins have 14 players on IR, many of them were expected to play significant roles this year... your cowboys aren't the only ones dealing with injuries. it also didn't help that our qb wasn't named a starter until a week before the season and he started slow, but thankfully he's playing insanely well these past 8 weeks.

we've made do with rookies and free agent cast-offs that were jobless prior to being signed.
If that doesn't count for something then I don't know what does.

I'm sure you'll take anything win-wise you can get but the funny thing is that the team still isn't good and you're likely in for a rude surprise come next season when the rest of the division isn't injured and terrible. In fact, this false positive success will only encourage the front office to double down on what they have and extend everyone, which Dallas could show you isn't generally that smart.
Ps, as history has shown the likelihood of anyone repeating in this division is zero. Good luck staying as relatively injury free next year.

I'd be proud of my team too if I were you. Congrats to you guys.

My hatred of the Commanders is definitely a step down from my hatred of the Giants and Eagles these days. So, if the Cowboys can't win it, I'd much rather have you guys in it than see Eli's dumb face in the playoffs again or Chip Kelly experiencing any success at all.

Dude, you've beat no one with a winning record, how much credit do you want? Beat Seattle and you'll get the credit you deserve

At least we don't have Chip Kelly as our head coach. That dude really sucks.

He's been found out. It looked like the Skins knew what plays were coming. Had no ability to move the ball down field in hurry up - all short plays when he needed big yardage and quick scores in the 4th.

Since all Chip can do is dink and dunk, no need for him to spend money on Bradford - Weeden will be a FA and is the king of dink and dunk.

The Garrett homers need to live in their excuses.. I'm a cowboys fan that lives in DC and know they are being coached well, despite all the injuries.

Their close to thirty year old OC and Callahan have done a great job moving the pocket, running loads of play-action, controlling the clock and developing Cousins along the way.. They play plenty of disciplined football..

If we were in the same position, the Garrett homers would say he was the greatest coach ever..

Grabbing Callahan was a steal
For you guys.. We went back to sloppy, Garrett football..

Amazing how everybody says Chip Kelly sucks when he has had no QBs and at least made the play-offs, but they'll defend Garrett to no end saying this season was a down year because of not having Romo and he's made the playoffs only once with Romo..

Callahan must be LHAO right now.

It's embarrassing that Jerry is talking about the pass rush and not telling Garrett to pack his things, while the Commanders won the division with a back-up QB and a thirty year old OC, who runs play-action as their bread and butter and who now, most likely because of the influence of Callahan control the TOP, but do it differently than the Cowboys with a short passing game on today's modern NFL..

When did we ever put up close to forty points even with Romo to clinch a division game against an NFC East opponent?

Your team sucks, they have no shot to go anywhere and they will not repeat next year.

You can run your mouth now but much like your disappearing act after Griffin was exposed we won't see you back here next year.

I give the Skins credit. While it certainly was a down year for the division, that's not the winner's problem. You glady take the playoff spot and go from there.

The most important development of the season even more so than the division crown is the team has a viable QB in place going forward.

When has our offense under Garrett looked as crisp and sharp as the Skins offense looked last night? Cousins looked like a surgeon, and their offense looked like a well oiled machine compared to what we've seen under Red. And everybody clamoring for Red here, says we need continuity and cant change now because it would take too long to install a new system. Yet Jay "Frank Caliendo" Gruden benched his starter and went with a backup and has been the best coach in this division this season. Yet here we are almost an entire decade of running redball and the team rarely looks prepared or crisp on offense. Continuity in Red's case is just more stale white bread and crackers.

Romo, in that offense, would be out of this world... Who knows where he would have been if he was in that type of offense, instead of being stuck with the clapper...

But we're too late into his career to change systems :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

Romo would be great in most systems other than ours. I used to get frustrated to no end watching Romo take the play clock all the way down to 1 second on almost every play, but I finally realized he's trying to cover up for Red's stale inept scheme and doing what he can to make things works in spite of Redball.

Indeed they were the best of a terrible lot this year but there is one thing they did that I've seen you scream for many times on here . Last offseason , they brought on board a legit seasoned general manager and Danny boy got out of his way.
If you followed their offseason, you knew they were headed in the right direction .
What is their ceiling?
Probably not to high with Kurt cousins as the qb and the ever looming ego of Dan Snyder, but right now , at least for one season, this team is being run better than the Dallas Cowboys.
And 31 other hands go up in the room....
