The Garrett homers need to live in their excuses.. I'm a cowboys fan that lives in DC and know they are being coached well, despite all the injuries.

Their close to thirty year old OC and Callahan have done a great job moving the pocket, running loads of play-action, controlling the clock and developing Cousins along the way.. They play plenty of disciplined football..

If we were in the same position, the Garrett homers would say he was the greatest coach ever..

Grabbing Callahan was a steal
For you guys.. We went back to sloppy, Garrett football..

Im here in DC with you my man. I won't be able to listen to sports radio for 2 weeks when Seattle ends the Skins season. But like you, I admit the Skins are making baby steps in the right direction.

I'm rooting for Kirk Cousins. I think he's an example of the proper approach to developing a QB. Draft a talented QB, let him sit for a few years, and when he's ready, give him a shot.

If we had Cousins, we'd be 10-4 right now.

The local hype here in DC - e.g., on AM 980, will be semi-hysterical for the next two weeks. Given credit to Gruden for going with his gut and not caving in to Danny's wishes re RG3. As for the Seattle game, we shall be finding out whether Cousins can get it done against a quality opponent.

I think you meant, if we had Callahan, we'd be 10-4 right now, you know, like we were last year.

Just another in the line of people the Garrett felt threatened by and had to be put to pasture, this time to help a division rival win the division.

I mean, it would probably be better in the long run for the Eagles to win this and win the division next week so they can get curb stomped in the playoffs and have a later draft pick but I just can not stand their existence. So Go Slurs.

lol.

I don't blame you in the least there.

I absolutely hate everything about the Philthy Eagles.

DeSean Jackson. 2nd best WR in the division behind Odell Beckham.

Discuss.

Odell is absolutely doing everything he can this year to steal the ******* of the league award from Jackson.

Odell is working real hard to get that title. He's well on his way as well I think.

Hopefully the Skins face the Seahawks and Russell Wilson sends them packing on their own field again like 2012. But, if they luck out and get Minnesota, they might actually advance :omg:

Skins are #26 in rushing defense. They give up 4.8 YPC, second highest in the league. Would be an interesting day for Peterson and the Vikings O.

ok guy. if the Commanders suck soo bad what does that say about your sucky team?
i don't have any disillusions about winning a playoff game this year, but it's a step in the right direction for a franchise that has been spinning its wheels for years. The skins are doing things the right way, and hopefully a playoff loss will make the team hungry for more and our young qb will get more experience in pressure packed games.. All are good things imo, even if it results in a loss this year.

I will. Enjoy your girls washing their tights in Jan. And you enjoy doing chores on Sundays..
Oh wait, you've been doing that for months this year :)

No. It's only been a week. The division has been so bad, I've been begging one of our rivals to put us out of our misery. If Romo was healthy there's no doubt in my mind, we'd win this pitiful division. :)

True but the way he answered that question tells me he does want to stay. He didn't talk at all about free agency. Just wants to return to the Eagles. Probably because of how talented they are.

What's soooo talented about the Eagles?

Average oline
average qb
Slightly above average rb
Average wr's
Very good dline
Average linebackers with potential to be good if Alonso finds form
Poor secondary
Good special teams

Additionally they have been extraordinarily healthy the last few years and still nada.
Very average football team, maybe the most overrated in the NFL.....again.

It's embarrassing.. We rubbed coaches that did good things for us like Callahan off the wrong way to appease our clown HC.. That's as egotistical as it gets...

And what's even more embarrassing is the Commanders did it with Danny boy, who was just as interfering as Jerry and protected RG3... And Cousins was picked by Shanahan and Danny still allowed his new coach to bench RG3. He didn't let who get in the way of starting RG3...
